“Bang for the buck”

Clean , freindly attentive staff , and close to everything. Pacific Beach about 15 min. away . La Jolla beach two blocks away. Resturants across the street , and a GREAT bar & grill called "The Shack" two blocks away. Stayed there for our sons wedding, and could not have been more pleased.
Parking kind of sucked , but was able to slide into a spot every night of our 6 night stay. Booked thru AARP for $56.00 a night !
We shall return !

Great Review. Thank You! We are just a block or about 300 yards from Wind An Sea Beach. The Motel was built in the late 50's so it is an older style motel. However, in the last few months we have begun a renewal and rennovation process which will continue for at least a year.

We have already replaced all the bedding and linens as well as half of the curtains. We have rennovated our office, pool area and signage. We will soon be replacing the ramiander of our curtains, and begin replacing the carpeting. Next year we will begin installing the new flat screen TV's as well.

One thing that will never change is our excellent customer service and our continuing drive to make all of our guests happy.

La Jolla is a beautiful place. We have very little turnover in staff and all of us live in the area. We love where we work and where we live and are eager to share all the helpful information with people that may be here for the first time.

We do have one room on the third floor with an ocean view. The room has windows on three sides and also has a large private deck with tables, chairs and umbrellas. We call it the Penthouse or room number 245.

Excellent! Thank You.

We have a great staff. No turnover at all. The Desk, housekeepers and maintenance have all been here for years. Our return guests are like family to all of us here at La Jolla Beach Travelodge.

La Jolla is a clean, quiet and safe area and because of it's central location it is easy to get to almost anywhere in less than 30 minutes. Seaworld is 7 miles, Torrey Pines is 7 miles, La Jolla Cove and the seals are about a mile. UCSD is less than 5 miles. The San Diego Zoo is 14 miles and the Mexican border is about 26 miles.

Quality-
Really very good considering. Its a no frills hotel, but that doesnt mean its a run down hotel. For the service we received, how much we enjoyed our stay, and the rate we paid, the quality is definitely excellent

Facilities-
The rooms are plenty spacious, lots of surfaces to unpack to, bathroom is nice and clean. The room was cleaned regularly and smells clean. AC/Heat worked well. The mattress was a bit stiff. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves, which worked well for us as we like to have some leftovers and our own alcohol. Continental breakfast was great, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, juice, coffee, real creamer (not that powdered crap), and pasteries. There is a hot tub and pool, but since the beach was literally a block away, we chose to do that instead.

Service-
There was always someone on staff who was available to help you, and they were all very friendly.

This hotel is in a great location, the pricing is great, and the staff is wonderful. We are going back for our second stay at this T
