“Very friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

Went on the 2 hours cave tour with La Jolla Kayak. We had our own guide, he was very flexible and gave us leeway to do what we wanted to do. Too windy to enter the caves but it was fun to go by and look in, while enjoying the view of the seals and sea lions. Great deal on renting wetsuits. Bring sunglasses, hat and sunscreen/lip protection. There's a short walk from the store to the beach. All great exercise.

“Worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Rented stand-up paddle boards from these guys. They are super friendly and attentive and have everything you need. They also provide lockers and washrooms which I think is a really good feature of the business because you totally need them. Coolest thing to do in the San Diego area. The area is spectacular, there is so much interesting wild life to see; leopard shark in the shallow water under you, sea lions, pelicans, beautiful kelp forest. Breath taking views couple with the physical exertion of it makes it a really memorable day. Advice; Buy a lanyard for your sunglasses from them or you will lose your glasses!

Awesome time. Easy to get to from downtown San Diego with transit. Good exercise and great views of the cliff face and kayaking into the cave. Got up close to some sea lions.

“Lots of fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We had a perfect day to kayak along the coast. The guides were informative and helpful. I was worried about getting past the surf but it was not a problem. We went in one cave, saw the wildlife and beauty of La Jolla! It was great fun riding the kayak back in on the waves.
