“Food is perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Dinner here was a sublime experience. Every morsel was Devine. The presentation was over the top, using local ingredients that were perfectly fresh . The assortment of specially blended salts were a wonderful treat served with the fabulous crusty bread and butter. The combination of unusual ingredients made for a wonderful treat for two foodies. It is best to have someone else pay the bill as iris very expensive. Great place for a special celebration.

“Great views, great service, very good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

A lunch at George's is a must if you are in the area of La Jolla during the day. The first thing you will find incredible is the view. An absolutely serene setting that puts you in a relaxed state from the moment you are seated. Second thing you will not is the service. All of the staff seem to enjoy what they do and this is reflected in their friendly demeanor and attentive service. Last but certainly not least is the food which was delicious and reasonably priced.

Our party of 3 had the Ceviche, fish tacos and the chef's special which was a grilled mahi-mahi. The fish was perfectly cooked and tasted very fresh. The desserts are awesome. For a little tast of Nirvana, you must try the Sticky Toffee pudding cake.

Visit George's! you will not be disappointed.

“Great food and margaritas!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

The food was very delicious but the best part of the night was the maragritas. I think that the bartenders name was Tom. I made my reservation on opentable and the hostess honored my request for a table with a view since we were there celebrating a special occasion.

This is the best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. Great food and great atmosphere. I have dined here numerous times over the years and have had nothing but wonderful experiences.

“paradisiac view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

on a busy sunday , we found a seat in 20 min , with a nice view !
the food was really refined , we had a cevicce to share and two tacos shrimp and fish , everything was really tasty good and fresh , the service excellent

you can ask for a table in the center of the terrace instead of close to the gate because you would have a better view than the ugly roofs top behind !
go try at the sunset
