“Ask for Thierry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2010

Thierry was our waiter from Saint-Etienne (near Lyon, France) who was wonderful. When reviewing the menu, you might just go with his recommendations. We both had the 3-course meal with the wine pairings which was a bargain compared to ordering a la carte. The dessert called half-baked chocolate cake was outstanding - more like amazing. The dessert wine was complimentary and called "Liquid Love".

Ross Harmon was the manager and from New Orleans (our hometown) - he could not have been nicer or more accomodating.

“Great Lunch - if a bit pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2010

Enjoyed lunch on beautiful outdoor deck with our two sons. Hangar Steak and Salmon were both excellent. Wish there was a bit more quantity of food -- left us a little hungry. Presentation was beautiful. One son just had a kid's grilled cheese & french fries -- which was a great choice and reasonably priced. Service was okay -- server was a bit slow but we were in no hurry, so worked fine. View and overall ambience were excellent. Two of us said best restaurant for the whole vacation, two said good restaurant, but not quite the best! Definitely worth a visit. Total price for 4 without drinks was about $70.

“Excellent food for all meals.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2010

Ate here for breakfast and lunch. Had huevos rancheros for breakfast-it was the right portion, and very flavorful. Freshly squeezed orange juice was perfect.
For lunch had the hamburger-it was a 12 dollar burger-but it was hands down the best burger that I have had in recent memory. Fries appeared to be fresh cut, they were very tasty and delicious.
It was a little pricey but for the quality of the meal well worth it.

“Sublime food and excellent service from start to finish.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2010

This was the best meal we had during our North American trip.
Attentive staff in this vibrant and trendy restaurant.
Our teenagers were expecially happy. I've never known a 14 year old boy to eat a watercress salad, yes it had a smattering of duck but waterever was in the dressing had him finishing the last of the green folliage.
Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection.
Scallops were amazing and perfectly cooked.
Great balance of flavours. Nothing over trendified.
One criticism would be the lack of local produce. (Fish from Europe...Lamb from NZ?)
