“Nice Beach”

Great fun at this beautiful beach, however we did like Mission Beach a little better. Nice little town with plenty of shopping.

“A hidden Jewel @ La Jolla”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

La Jolla Cove is a must to do while visiting San Diego, California. You must go down the Cove to see a magnificent view and admired the hard work the two Chinese workers did during the excavation for smuggling migrants and alcohol (illegal at the time) . There is a small fee to be able to go down, but is worth the money paid. Rental of swimming and snorkeling attire are available if you want to swim and snorkel down the Cove. Wildlife of seals and pelicans add a touch of this magnificent scenery, however the smell can be overpower full . Plenty of shops, restaurant and a beautiful beach along the coast ...highly recommend !

“Impressive wild & human mix”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

It's really impressive to see how all the wildlife accept human behavior. Pelicans and seals are just living like if nobody is around and it's unique, people swim with wild seals not in an artificial surrounding.

“sealife extravaganza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Hired some flippers, mask & snorkel and went snorkelling from the cove and saw loads of varieties of fish swimming in relatively shallow water. Amazing to have seals swimming alongside and underneath you as you are in the water.
Visability was only about 6 or 7 feet on the day we went and can be smelly around the rocks as you walk to & from the cove due to all the sea birds who reside there.
