Nice hotel for Hilton chain. Experienced good service. Rooms were clean and had large flat screen TV's. Nice pool. Not within walking distance of downtown La Jolla, but not much is. Grounds were well kept. On the downside, parking is $25/night.

We stayed at the property for a weekend visit to the San Diego area. The lobby is very nice. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is not in walking distance of anything, so you will need a car. The staff was very friendly. Overall I had a good experience here.

I stayed at the Hilton over spring break. We got a great rate on Priceline. The hotel was very pretty and the rooms were fairly large for the area. It was during March madness and we had a great flat screen TV to watch all the college basketball games. My husband became ill while we were there so we spent a lot of time in the room and the bed was very comfortable.
I found the service to be quick, grounds to be clean, good coffee (Starbucks counter in lobby that opens at 6:15.) There is free internet access in the lobby.
The hotel is very pretty but it is a drive to go any place–you can not walk to any dinning. I would recommend for anyone who needed a nice place to rest their head, or a place to sit by the pool and relax. I would not recommend to anyone who wants to visit the San Diego area, park your car and walk. You also can not see the ocean!

This was my 4th stay at the Hilton Torrey Pines in the past 3 years. I love the location of this hotel. The rooms are large and the bedding is extremely comfortable. Also, I appreciate the recent improvements that have been made in the room decor. The quality of service during this stay was outstanding! We had Sunday brunch in the resturaunt and the food was a bit above average.
