“Great surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

I liked that they have many kinds of fish I have never seen at other aquariums. Fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. There was nothing I disliked!

“Cool hands on experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Really neat large aquariums, I have never seen an octopus up so close. Loved the hands on exhibit with the anemones and starfish. I even liked the watch out for rattlesnakes sign in the parking lot! Its nice to be at least warned of things like that, and I found myself looking under bushes and trees trying to spot one. The views from here are also amazing. I recommend going here for sure.

“FISHIES!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

When my daughter was a baby, this was one of my favorite places to take her. Before she could talk she would just sit and watch the brightly colored fish swimming. Now that she's older she still is enamored, and so am I. Its a really great aquarium. After wandering through the tanks, you can take a break and watch the underwater view of their huge tank featuring a sampling of our native species. It's also fun to go outside at their recreated tide pools. And after your done here its a short trip to take a walk at the beach in La Jolla.
