Driving Hwy 99 between L.A. and S.F. can be an adventure. The one I had recently was not great. Tired and hot, we pulled off the Fwy to this Motel 6, in hopes it would be clean. Not the case. The bottom of the tub was brown, and there was ground-in black dirt on the edge of the bathroom floor. We looked forward to using the pool, but the surface of it and the hot tub were also brown. The water in the pool was almost as warm as the hot tub. Not very refreshing.
The worst thing was the pillows. Tiny and feather-filled. I got asthma from less than an hour of contact, and continued to cough after removing them from my bed. NOT a good night's sleep.
The restaurant next door was very good.
