We saw the makeshift $1 burger sign on the main road, (the top of Mithona Street, on the bend of Serendipity Road) and were intrigued! We'd already sampled a great 75¢ hot dog that day, so were on a mission for cheap dinner also.
It's a young business, a family (who also provides brekky to the big hotel at the top of the square in which their tiny restaurant is situated, on the bottom left) who are super friendly and ensure you have a pleasant meal. We ordered cheeseburgers which cane with fries, $2 each, they were glorious. Fresh cut chips too. The $1 burger is just a hamburger, no sides. The ultimate burger on the menu has to be the $3 one; beef burger, chicken, bacon-the works! They offer pizza from $3, and substantial breakfasts for around $2. The omelette was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back again. These guys know how to do it properly, at good prices, with surprisingly fantastic food. Awkun Delicious!
