We love our Indian/Pakastani food and make a point of trying at least one Indian restaurant in evrey place we visit. Up until the K2, we had never really been disappointed, but there's a first time for everything! The service was rather slow, but we didn't mind because the music was good, the beer was really cold and we weren't in any hurry - we thought that the extra time would mean that the food would be fresher and better. As we weren't particularly hungry (it was lunchtime), we shared a Chicken Tikka, Dahl Mahkani, Butter Naan and a Chappati. The Chiken Tikka consisted of three large, flat pieces of chicken which were dried out and very rubbery and the yoghurt sauce was very watery and virtually tasteless. My partner thought the taste might be improved with some lime or lemon, which he asked for but it never arrived. The Dahl was slightly better and tastier but very bulky and chunky compared with what we are used to; the Butter Naan was rubbery and virtually inedible. The Chappati was average but nothing to rave about...at least it was edible. Would have a drink there again but wouldn't recommend the food to anyone.
