Pros: Good location, sea view rooms with balconies, mosquito net at the balcony door, very good mattresses, very good shower.
Cons: No restaurant, no bar, no room service, no mini bar on the room (fridge is empty), no elevator, no TV channel list, no telephone directory.
The payment policy is very unpleasant in this hotel. They asked for payment day by day or everything in advance but with no refund in case of earlier departure! No credit card guarantee or cash deposit accepted.
WiFi was mainly not working. When it worked it was only for a few minutes and then extremely slow. But the manager insisted in providing “the fastest and best WiFi connection all around Sihanoukville”. “You won’t find a better place” he said. Very well, that’s a joke because we found plenty of places nearby with faster and, even more important, stable and constantly working internet connection.
Bed pillows are far too thick and very hard, but no other pillows were available. Blankets are too short, we had many roaches in the room, the fridge was without power when you leave the room (how stupid is this?) and we had frequent power cuts.
The pool mattresses were too short, only around 1,50 m long. Pool area was never cleaned. Trash was lying around from days ago. No pool towels, so one has to bring a towel from his room. But beware; this may cause problems when you check out. The may accuse you of stealing their precious towels!
Poor buffet breakfast with instant coffee only, no cheese or something for the bread, just butter. Fruit juices from the bottle are watered, taste just like colored water. Food is only suitable for locals but not for farangs.
Hot water in the bathroom only at day time, at night it took up to 15 minutes for hot water to come.
Conclusion: All in all a pretty overpriced hotel for what you get.
