When we first arrived on 17th Feb for 3 nights we thought we had made a mistake because it really is far away from anywhere, the good news is the hotel offer a taxi service into town....if you wish to go there! We went just the once and decided that was enough for us as it's more for the backpackers.
There was a young man employed by the hotel named Tola who is worth his weight in gold, nothing was too much trouble for him, he's very enthusiastic, speaks good English and extremely helpful, he managed to get airline tickets for us, cheaper than we could on the internet, arranged our bus tickets and didn't expect a tip for doing any of this.
As for the hotel itself, the pool is really lovely, breakfast good, the evening menu could do with more choices though. The rooms are a little basic and could do with a few more feminine finishing touches like cushions/bed runners and we would have liked to have a tv/dvd in our room.
Whilst we were there we got chatting and drinking with other guests well into the early hours, turned out we went to the same school many years ago!
All in all a very enjoyable 3 days.
