“Great B & B - highly recommended.”

This is a great B&B. The owners are very nice. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is spectacular! We will not consider staying anywhere else next time we go back. We would also refer all our friends.
The specials offered really made them stand out from the others.

My husband and I traveled to Sonoma Valley to attend a wedding at the Chateau St. Jean Winery and I discovered that the Birmingham Bed & Breakfast was just across the highway from the winery. What a great place to stay!!! We stayed in the Red Room - beautiful and cozy. There are three other rooms, the Sun Porch, the Yellow Room and the Green Room. Nancy and Jerry, the owners, are friendly, lovely people who make you feel at home. And the breakfasts are outstanding. I highly reecommend this B&B. I know when we return to Sonoma Valley, we will stay there again.

We rented the cottage which accomodates 5 people and there is no better way to see wine country with a group. The cottage is completely stocked as if it were a house. You have every convenience provided to you. We stayed up late and drank wine in the living room while watching a movie, cooked a full breakfast for ourselves in the morning and walked to some of the best wineries in Sonoma (its that close!). All the restaurants were delicious ( and walking distance too) and you cannot beat the beautiful rustic scenery that greets you every morning. We are trying to plan how we can stay in that cottage for a month....we'll have to alk to the proprietor. I would definitely go back and want to go back right now....

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this charming inn. The breakfasts were out of this world. The owners wanted us to enjoy ourselves and went overboard to make sure we did. Convenient location for sightseeing and wine tasting tours.
We will return again if going to the area.
Highly recommend the Birmingham Inn.

My fiance' and I stayed at Birmingham Bed and Breakfast the weekend we got engaged. My fiance worked with Nancy and Jerry (the owners) to plan a wonderful dinner where he popped the question! While we were out they decked out our room with roses and champagne. They really went the extra mile to make our weekend special. The inn is beautiful, in a great location, and the breakfasts each morning are gourmet quality! We felt like this was our home for the time we were there and can't wait to return to celebrate future anniversaries!

We were given a warm welcome on arrival even though the innkeepers were away and we had temporary hosts for the first night. The room was great. We had the red room which was spacious with a great bed - high off the ground though - and fantastic linen. The views from the balcony were okay, but nothing special and the bathroom had a great shower, but the tub was a sit up variey that doubled as the shower tray so it would be tricky to get in and out of if you had any mobility issues. The room was huge and very romantic with great touches. Slighly alarming was the supply of earplugs and it turns out that this property sits on a major highway so we were disappointed by the location having envisaged walking / biking to vinyards nearby. Having arrived we decided driving - even to vinyards within walking distance was the only safe option. However we didn't use the earplugs and we slept really well. Breakfasts were gourmet style - e.g. poached pears served with a raspberry coulis and mushroom quiche. However there was no choice and breakfast was served around a dining room table with all rooms eating together at the same time, so its not for those that want their own space. The owners returned on our second day and seemed equally charming.

We spent three wonderful days at the Birmingham B&B. Nancy and Jerry were so nice, very helpful and attentive. Nancy made reservations for us at Doce Lunas (which is fantastic) and The Vinyard (also fantastic). The B&B is beautiful, lovely grounds and the common areas very inviting. Nancy had to go out of town while we were there but Jerry took good care of us and his breakfasts were scruptious and so filling we skipped lunch!

The room had all the amenities you would want right down to the earplugs for the road noise (which did not bother us, we kind of liked it).

There is a lot to do in the surrounding areas, we went to Sugarloaf Park, Bodega Bay, Sonoma, Glen Ellen and had dinner one night in Santa Rosa at John Ash & Co. restaurant - which is outstanding - best dinner ever!

We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so soon.
