“Fun place to eat. Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

My husband eat here at least twice when we camp in Mammoth Lakes. This eatery has such good food. And the service is great. A little rustic cafe with a view of Silver Lake. It's a must if you get up this way.

“Great Little Place for Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Gary Jones is the owner of the entire Silver Lake Resort and does a terrific job of attracting people to the cafe and motorhomers and campers. Right across the street from the boat launch and across the creek from the motorhomers, the small, but always busy cafe serves a wonderful breakfast and is always crowded because of the reputation and good food. Only open from fishing opener weekend (late April) until it is inaccessible due to snow, the entire Resort is an enjoyable experience. July 4th features the annual horse shoe competition attended by many.

“Yummy Country Cooking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

We stop for breakfast on our way to Yosemite from June Lake.
I found this cafe recommended on Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 9:30 AM and put our name on the wait list. It took about 20 minutes to get a table because there are only six tables and one counter for service. But I notice at 10:00 the place was half empty. So come a little later in the morning and you will not have to wait for brunch. In the end, it was worth the wait. Breakfast was delicious and I bought a new shirt in the connecting country store while waiting for our table.

“Awesome stop”

Best patty melt! Love this place and make the time to go here every time we're in the area. Always a wait so be prepared. That's because the food is so darn good!

“Out of this world breakfast!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

While staying at June Lake, we ate here every morning for breakfast. It was amazing. The locals told us about this place, so we were glad to try it out. The dining area is small, but we lucked out and hit it at a great time every morning. We loved everything we tried (and we tried LOTS of things). The plate-sized pancakes were delicious (I had the apple cinnamon pancakes one morning). Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying in the area.
