“Quiet, Peaceful, Romantic Getaway!”

This is the 5th or 6th time over the last 5 years my husband and I have stayed at Orchard Hill, and not only would we go back again, we're planning another stay there later this year!

Any of the Cottage Rooms such as the Black Gilflower, Sweet Bough, Cortland, or (my favorite) the Yellow Bellflower are a great bet. The rooms are impeccably and tastefully decorated to appeal to both genders. Even during the weekend, they are quiet with at least some degree of seclusion. They have gas fireplaces and whirlpool tubs in the Cottage Rooms. If you prefer a shower, be sure to let Reservations know this at the time you book your stay.

The staff is impeccably, and unobtrusively, polite. The breakfast and dinner (the dinner requires special reservations) are outstanding!

If the price seems daunting, do like we do and book your stay during one of their numerous specials offered throughout the year. Furthermore, for ultimate privacy and quiet, go during the week when the town is not quite as busy.

Can't say enough about this place. Go and see for yourself.

“Heavenly Mountain Retreat!”

From the time we checked and throughout our stay, we were amazed by the outstanding level of service. The staff at Orchard Hill tended to our every need! The cottage was beautiful with everything impeccably maintained. The lodge and restaurant were straight out of a movie with the fireplace and romantic setting! The food was OUTSTANDING! When shopping in town, we were asked where we were staying and without exception the response when we told them Orchard Hill was that it was THE BEST! We will definitely return to this piece of heaven in Julian, California!

“Absolutely Perfect”

My husband and I wanted a little R&R after the holidays. Orchard Hill exceeded our expectations. Prices were very reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful. The meals were incredible- daily appetizers and alcoholic beverages were included and were a meal in itself. The owners stopped by quite often and were more than accomodating. It rained the whole weekend, but there were plenty of activities indoors to make the weekend very special. We will be visiting there again!

“Loved the Inn”

We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversery while staying at the inn. The propriators and thier staff went out of their way to ensure a memorable evening for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall. Meals are outstanding and the facility , service and amenities are top notch. We plan on returiing many times.

“Friendly, romantic Orchard Hill Country Inn”

Orchard Hill exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. It was cozy and romantic with a two-sided fireplace, down comforter on the bed, loveseat, rocking chair and more. Complimentary afternoon wine and hors d'oeurvres are served by the lodge fireplace every day. The Thanksgiving Dinner was delicious and you get turkey sandwiches to go for the next day! The chef prepares dinners on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday nights, by reservation only. Hot breakfast is included each morning. The grounds were beautiful and all the inn's staff so very friendly and accomodating. Some of the people we met have been coming to Orchard Hill for over 10 years! We definitely will go again.
