“Gotta stop in and step back in time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

After peering in the window, we had to go inside and sit at the counter for lunch. I had a turkey burger with fries (extra crispy). It was more than I could eat and the price was under $10. The photo opportunities are endless. The soda fountain artifacts are cool. Our waitress was a doll. I think that stopping in is just a part of visiting Julian,

“expensive for what you get”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Had burger, fries and float here. The floats were expensive and small. The burgers were below average and they were not generous with the fries.

“Great Atmosphere, Good Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014

You can spend hours looking at the old Route 66 type memorabilia, but you came there to eat, right? The menu was exclusively American comfort food faves, but well prepared, fresh, and tasty.

“Great place for a quick lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

We usually drop in for a great milkshake and the bison burger. It is like stepping back in time. I definitely recommend it!!

“Kitschy atmosphere, food was ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

It's a cute place to stop for a burger, but a bit cramped. The portions were large. The fries were really good, the turkey burger was slightly above average. The prices are reasonable, but not cheap. A meal runs about $10-$13 per person. The staff were very friendly.

You order and pay at the counter first, then they bring your food to you.

They use playing cards as identifiers, which is cute, but it can get a little annoying hearing them yelling out card numbers throughout your meal, so don't sit right by the register if you can avoid it.
