“Wonderful, for the self suficient person... Beautiful Wedding location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

I am reading peoples reviews and some of you seem a little high maintence. first off the staff here is family... and when your there they treat you as family as well. I could have chosen to have my wedding anywhere in Julian but after talking on the phone with the owner I felt a connection. Through the months of wedding planning Teresa and her partner grew to be like family and on the day of my wedding they made sure i didnt have much to stress over. Yes there are no TVs, yes the decor and rooms are out dated, BUT YES the groudns are beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. I recieved so many complements after my wedding from firneds and family that stayed at the grounds. It was a wonderful location and stay. My father ( a hotel snob) actually wants to make it a annual tradition to have the famliy rent the whole place out and stay a night. Its a perfect get away. OH and if you have the chance to have them cook for you ( i.e.catering a dinner there for family or even breakfast) THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!

Room Tip: The lilac suit was beautiful and HUGE with two bedrooms a few couches and dinning room table and a k...

“Should have been closed years ago!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Paid $150 for two nights, a Thursday and Friday night. The driveway was a nightmare, and I was already wondering what we were going to find when we got there. Our keys were in an envelope hanging outside the office door pinned to the wall. We went to look for our room and had a hard time finding it because there were no lights outside that were on. We finally found it and boy, were we in for a surprise. While the bed was relatively comfortable and the sheets appeared clean, the rest of the room was a disaster. Everything needed replacing and it had the appearance of a run down summer camp that someone opened to make a couple of bucks without going thru the process of renovating anything. The grounds were worse!

Room Tip: The garden rooms don't have a garden.

“Meadow View Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. The name has been changed to Meadow View Inn. The grounds are beautiful, the owner friendly. For those looking for luxury, pass on this place. It is older, but clean. It is close to Julian but feels far away. The night sky is amazing out here!

Spent a week at Angels Landing/Julian Mountain-view. The staff are like extended family, there to help with anything you ask. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing! Great views and just full praise for a job well done. Thanks so much!
