1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Paid $150 for two nights, a Thursday and Friday night. The driveway was a nightmare, and I was already wondering what we were going to find when we got there. Our keys were in an envelope hanging outside the office door pinned to the wall. We went to look for our room and had a hard time finding it because there were no lights outside that were on. We finally found it and boy, were we in for a surprise. While the bed was relatively comfortable and the sheets appeared clean, the rest of the room was a disaster. Everything needed replacing and it had the appearance of a run down summer camp that someone opened to make a couple of bucks without going thru the process of renovating anything. The grounds were worse!

Room Tip: The garden rooms don't have a garden.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. The name has been changed to Meadow View Inn. The grounds are beautiful, the owner friendly. For those looking for luxury, pass on this place. It is older, but clean. It is close to Julian but feels far away. The night sky is amazing out here!

Spent a week at Angels Landing/Julian Mountain-view. The staff are like extended family, there to help with anything you ask. The rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing! Great views and just full praise for a job well done. Thanks so much!

Angel's Landing is now Meadow View Inn. With lot of improvements to the rooms, this place is a hidden gem in the mountains!

We usually stay in the Lilac and the jacuzzi bathtub is wonderful after a day of hiking or horseback riding. We enjoyed sitting in our private balcony at night, talking and looking at stars.

They now have Integrity Stables on the property which is a huge bonus! Riding on the large property is a wonderful experience! Along with views of Vulcan Mountain and the town below, you will pass old mining shafts and dugouts. Very enjoyable ride!

This place is so lovely and we look forward to our next visit.

Also, their wedding meadow is the best place for a wedding at a reasonable price!

Seriously enjoyed my anniversary stay at Julian Meadow View Inn/Angels landing! We stayed in the Lilac suite and had the best of times, made a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed the lack of television!! The jacuzzi tub was tons of fun, and the solitude was just what we wanted!! A classic, beautiful, country stay! We also went to Jeremy's for apple cobbler and a hard cider, very fun!

Room Tip: Stay in the Lilac suite, its enormous!

We stayed here for our 37th anniversary and were so so so so happpy with our accomodations. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and personable! We are hoping to go back in Dec 2009 again for our 38th anniversary! Julian is a wonderful Christmas Holiday tirp as well! If you want the Hilton go to the Hilton. If you want clean/comfortable country atmosphere---this is your paradise!
