“Surprisingly good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Sometimes restaurants in remote areas like this aren't very good because they're the only game in town and don't have to compete for customers. I'm happy to say that Alexander's was not like this at all. The service was spot-on and the food was delicious. We shared four or five of the small plates and they were all outstanding. Only drawback is that there is a pretty limited wine selection, but luckily we liked the house pinot.

“Wonderful experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Ate dinner one night and Sunday brunch during our stay at the hotel. Dinner was very good. My husband ordered the four-course sampler menu with wine pairing and I had dinner and dessert. Both of our entrees were the flat iron steak and mine was cooked to perfection. My husband's was a little over cooked and the server offerred twice to return it for him, but he decided to eat it anyways, As such, the server comped my dessert, which was not necessary since he chose to keep his steak, but was very nice.

Brunch was also delicious. Hubby and I shared the crab benedict and crepe suzettes. The suzettes were heavy on the orange, but were otherwise very good and there was no criticism of the crab benedict...absolutely delicious with the perfect amount od hollandaise sauce.

The huge picture windows facing the ocean offer unbelievable views (be sure to make reservations for earlier rather than later so you can actually see those views), the restaurant is pretty and the service was wonderful.

“Dinner at Alexanders”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Alexanders is a romantic, woodsy small restaurant overlooking the coast. The food is very good, with one diner having the best ribeye any of us had ever tasted. The chef tends to use a little more spice than I like but it certainly gets the juices flowing. Breakfast here is delicious and I highly recommend the eggs benedict.

“New Brunch Menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

Been there a few times and the food is always good but why did you change the Sunday breakfast menu into a brunch menu? You have to have croissants and pancakes, and especialy the Eggs Blackstone on your Sunday breakfast menu. Who orders soup and sandwiches at 8 am?
