I hesitated at first to write this review because I wanted to keep this place a secret. However, to share my romantic experience at this gorgeous inn is a service to all travelers. Let me begin by saying the photos on the website do not do this classy and charming bed and breakfast enough justice. The inn is tastefully and impeccably decorated with genuine antiques and family heirlooms. From the four course breakfast, to the afternoon tea and sandwiches, to the chocolate angels on our pillows, the innkeepers Jamie and Dave, treated us like kings and queens making our quick stay as comfortable and as poetic as possible. Be sure to experience the breakfast in the dining room and to take a cool dip in the pool at night watching the starry skies. There is no doubt in my mind that this little gem of a bed and breakfast will be booked months in advance. So hurry before everyone else hears.

We have stayed at many B&B's throughout the years, but the Gate House Inn has to be the best by far. Mark and Donna are so personable and full of information. The breakfasts were awesome and we can't say enough about the setting. How wonderful it was to wake up to birds chirping, turkeys gobbling, cows mooing, and water running from a fountain. We were enchanted. The scenery is spectacular and we absolutley loved the two person jacuzzi tub. The rooms were clean, well kept, and beautifully furnished. We can't wait to return, as there is so much to do and see around Jackson, that two days just isn't enough.
