This is my second stay here. The room is a nice size, and well equipped, however, there were quite a few issues during our stay.
Overall, the service was great. When we had an issue, they responded well. But the issues were not always address to our satisfaction. Read on...
Our room was missing a hairdryer, which the front desk quickly replaced. Good service. However, when I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. Fortunately the second phone in the room did.
The TV would not turn on, and the drain in the bathroom sink was all backed up. It took a couple of minutes to drain.
After our first night, I reported all of the above issues to the front desk. They apologized, and gave us a voucher for breakfast which was nice. Again, the service was very good. They said they would address these issues right away.
However, when we returned after a long day, NONE of the issues were fixed, which means the next poor soul who gets that room will have same problems.
In addition, this is my second time at this hotel, and I can't stand their toilets. They are extremely loud, and about every 5 minutes or so, you hear a toilet from another room. Are they really flushing that much, or do these toilets have some sort of leak? It's really annoying to people who might be sensitive to noise.
The pool was nice and big, and reasonably warm. It look dirty, but was actually quite clean. The bottom just needs to be re-painted.
The worst experience of the trip however, came Sunday evening at 10:30pm when a loud noise started under our window. After 15 minutes of the noise, I went down to the front desk to find out what was going on. It turns out they scheduled their carpet cleaning that night! They offered to change our room, but that was not acceptable. I don't want to repack and move rooms at bed time! Why on earth they clean the carpets with an incredibly loud machine, at 10:30pm is beyond me! They did turn off the machine and move it to a farther location in the hotel where it would not bother guests, which was helpful. They also apologized and indicated they would change the schedule.
All in all, a decent hotel, but not my first choice in this area.

We are sorry to hear there were some issues in your guest room which should not have occurred. Normally, our rooms are properly equipped with all of the necessary items and are in working order. More importantly, we thank you for reporting these items to Trip Advisor so similar issues do not occur for other guests. As well, we have spoken to our outside cleaning company about where to park their vehicle as you noted. These items are definitely atypical for our hotel.
