“Stole my credit card number!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2011

I went here not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. The trip was marred by the drunken party next door, but I tried to ignore that.
A month later I was unpleasently surprised by all the fraudulent credit card charges occuring in Inglewood even though I was in a hospital 400 miles away. Best Western employees has skimmed my credit card numbers and were buying everything they could get on my tab!
Stay here if you want, but always PAY CASH AND NEVER GIVE THEM A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They employ thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found the place easily. Check in was fast. Free parking, free internet but very slow, free shuttle service to LAX, complimentary breakfast. Front desk service was friendly. We utilized the free shuttle service to LAX and back. We were glad we did because the hotel was booked out for the night and parking lot was full. If we had taken our car, we would not have found a parking spot when we got back. Room was quiet clean except it smelt like a smoking room. We had asked for a non-smoking room. We did not complain because the sign in the room said non-smoking room. It clearly smelt of cigarettes. Room came with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities, iron, hairdryer.
Not much good choices for eating places in the area. Mostly fast food. We ate at a small Chinese restaurant. Food was good. Overall hotel experience was great. Will definitely stay again.

We chose this hotel for our last night in Cali as we were staying in Anaheim & wanted to be closer to the airport for our early morning flight... Check in was quick & easy - Parking is HORRIBLE! Was afraid yo park for fear that our rental would be scratched by another car... Our room was clean .. And decent sized - However, our AC broke & the front desk didn't care!! It was over 80 degree's in our room mid June!! Too hot!! Swimming pool is FREEZING! No towels in the pool area .. You have to get those from the front desk .. Would have been nice to know this before I drug my 3 small kiddos to the pool... The area is SO loud it's scary! Traffic from the street, people peeling out! Voices and people yelling and screaming .. Not a good area. We paid $129 for this room for one night to stay with the BW name or points .. But this hotel location gives this hotel a bad rep. Stayed awake almost all night because it was so loud and too scary to sleep for fear of someone coming into our room .... Stay away!!! Do NOT stay here!!

No problems on check in. Room was clean and looked quite newly decorated. Breakfast was good with a good choice of items.
Good location for the airport and car hire offices were close by.
Free parking was a big plus for this hotel.
No problems with traffic noise or unwelcome visitors!

The only hotel on our four week trip we didn't feel safe staying at. When we arrived, we got two keys for a room but both didn't work (we tried them about a dozen times in different ways). The clerk told us they work for the staff but at least gave us a different room -- which turned out to be very loud because of its old / thin windows. When my girlfriend went to get from things from our car downstairs (during daytime), some guy on the third floor shouted obscene things at her and she had to rush back into our room. When I went out, he was still standing there, watching... Later, we wanted to get some sleep before our flight on the next day but weren't able to do so because of the thin windows. At 4 am or so, somebody knocked on our door, mumbling something and we were close to calling the police. We then left at 5:30 am or so, as soon as it wasn't dark anymore. Do NOT stay here!

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. I am sorry that you had trouble with your room keys, and I want to also apologize for the thin windows. We are constantly trying to improve the facility for our customers. I also want to apologize for the situation with regards to your girlfriend, as we take pride in our customer's safety. In the event you do travel to this area again I would be more than glad to take care of your accommodation needs here or at another Best Western that fits your needs.

We never expect much from an overnight / airport hotel. This one was just about right.
The check-in clerk upgraded us when he saw we had 3 kids (no roll away was available) so we got the 2 Q + sofa bed room. That was a really nice and we didn't even have to ask. Shows an employee going above and beyond for guest comfort. Plus Plus.
The room was clean and comfortable. We never got to the pool because of the later arrival, so can't comment.
Important: the airport shuttle was promt and friendly. About a 10 minute drive. There were hotels that were closer, but we always select BW as we are rewards members and they always have a breakfast. this breakfast was average in terms of selection (we've see much better) but everything was very fresh.
The location is a bit in the busy part of Inglewood on a busy corner, but it got quiet enough at night.
We would stay agian.

Stayed here overnight and for one day before flight back to NZ. Free prompt shuttle between airport and hotel. Friendly, happy staff who were willing to do whatever they could to make our stay a good one. Good price for studio style room, comfortable beds, immaculate, flat screen tv, microwave, fridge and tea/coffee making faciliites. Complimentary breakfast of cereals, waffles, assortment of pastries, toast and toppings.

We had a late flight out so staff were happy to keep our bags while we took an all day tour, then much later in the day were happy to deliver us to the airport.

The hotel is a little out of the way if you don't have a vehicle, so there's not much to see in the immediate vicinity. However, just loved Don Amigos, the Mexican restaurant across the road, and the service station and the dairy have snacks available if you're just in the room as a stopover. Management very helpful and knowledgeable about their city so I have no doubt that if we stayed longer this "isolation" would not be a problem. Other reviewers have suggested the hotel is noisy, and my travelling companion said the same, however I didn't find this a problem. Would stay again.
