“Nice property and excellent employees”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

The time spent at the Hyatt was wonderful. We rode bikes played ping pong golfed and enjoyed the spa too. There was an excellent employee named Debi who went above and beyond her job and ran out to the car to say goodbye. Also, the check in experience was great with a great employee Elise.

Got to say after staying at the Hyatt Hotel in Indian Wells what a lovely time we had, we found the staff very friendly and helpful yet not pushy, the rooms where lovely with everything you could ask for.

The pool areas were very nice and well catered for however, the only thing that was a put off was the music playing which was a real downside as there was nowhere to sit and quietly read a book and relax. In addition the hotel is surrounded by a lovely Golf Course so we took advantage of the bike hire for a little ride round only to be told that we could not cycle around the golf course which only left a 10 minute route around the hotel which was a BIG shame.

Other than that as the hotel is a little way out and to be honest too hot to walk, make sure you have a car you will need it as the nearest shops / Facilities are about 5 miles away.

Other than that a great hotel which I would go back to again tomorrow

Room Tip: Get a room over looking the car park if you don't want to listen to the Pool Music and as per no...

Very impressed with the service! From the time we drove up, through check-in, poolside, Camp Hyatt and beyond - we had the best service that we have experienced in a long time. The staff here outshines any team, anywhere! Truly top notch!!! The bar was really fun too. Great band. We had a short stay - an we are looking forward to coming back. Great work, Hyatt!!!

My husband and I have stayed at a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels, this was by far the best experience we've had. Hotels tend to have the same kinds of amenities, and of course Hyatt had everything you would expect, but what set them apart was their service. I know a lot of other people have mentioned this, but it really is great. The staff smiles, they aren't chirpy or overtly fake either, they just act like they are happy to help. We were allowed to check in early, which other (more expensive) hotels have absolutely not allowed us to do. Employees will open doors and hold elevators and offer to carry luggage even though these aren't their specific jobs. Housekeeping called to check if I needed anything, and they were prompt in their service. Also, I felt like there was more staff here than at other hotels. Sometimes I think front desk clerks at other places just get overwhelmed because they have to handle everything, but here it seemed like there was an abundance of staff, I never got an overwhelmed or stressed out vibe from any of the employees, and I felt like I could ask for anything and they would try to accommodate me. You don't get this happy vibe at other places, and let me tell you, when you are trying to relax it really helps to have positive people around you.

There were a few little things that were nice as well: The bathroom was huge and my bath tub and shower were Seperate. It is nice to take a bath in a tub that isn't an afterthought to a shower stall. Also, there was always hot water and the water pressure was excellent. The in room coffee was great, I am a bit of a coffee snob so this was a pleasant surprise. We had a little balcony, and a nice living room even though we stayed in one of the less expensive rooms. Also, this is a beautiful hotel. I mean, really beautiful. The decor is modern, but it has a certain warmth to it, and everything is very clean and looks new.

The room prices are very reasonable considering the service and amenities. The food, whether from the gift shop or the restaurant, or room serivce, is top notch, but it is expensive (although to be fair it compares to the prices at other resorts.)

Room Tip: There are lots of rooms that overlook the golf courses, and I would definitely ask for one. One guy...

I went to the Hyatt for a confrance, and like alot of corporate hotels, it is elegant, good service, NOT GREAT SERVICE, but with a hotel this size and busy that is typical! I met the GM and he seemed aloof ( I am being polite), but rather stuck up and did not want to hear from a guest. That attitude resinates to the staff.
The Hyatt has great confrence ammenities, and dining. The pool is large, but like any 500 room resort, very crowded. If you are a golfer, you will enjoy your stay! It was an OK, but after 2 days I left and checked into another hotel across the way which had superior service, and a smaller resort that was elegant! I might add, the price was better as well! It was an average stay with an expensive price tag.

Room Tip: Look around for smaller hotels in the area. Better prices, and with a smaller hotel, the staff is mor...

We have travelled widely but have never encountered such attentive staff. Paula was outstanding in her help with our rental car problem. This hotel should be very proud of all their staff. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. We ate in the restaurant a lot and it was very good on each occasion. The adult pool was very comfortable and quiet! Fabulous.
We had not visited this resort before but it was obvious it had undergone a recent refurb. It looks fantastic and we hope to return soon.
