This is my favorite Hyatt, a palm-populated golf resort built to blend in with its environs; the dramatic, San Bernadino arid mountain backdrop, framed by a cloudless, pale blue sky.
We stayed in the Regency Club penthouse suites on the 5th floor. These are ab-fab with a large lounge & dining area, bedroom and ensuite bathroom and massive terrace with daybeds. The decor is contemporary, with color accents that reflect the omnipresent palm and desert views.
There are a staggering, seven pools, including an adults-only pool all set in landscaped gardens. Booking a cabana was such a cool thing to do, offering respite in the 80 degree climate. They have wifi access (kept me happy), a TV (kept my partner happy), ceiling fan and private bar service (kept us both happy) on our day by the pool side.
Highly recommend sundowners in the Agave Sunset with its lively bar vibe and dinner in Lantana which serves up classic, California cuisine.
My partner is an avid golfer and he really enjoyed playing the two championship golf courses: Grand Champions & Indian Wells. Very impressed by the great seasonal value on these PGA calibre courses and how well the temperatures are coped with, while playing golf in 80 degrees. I was tempted into the Agua Serena Spa with the award-winning Foxx, medical and skin spa peeked my interest.
Loved the comp wifi, the value of the Regency Club Lounge that serves inclusive refreshments all day long and the personal concierge facility.
Stayed here for two days on our California road trip holiday. If our onward journey had not been sorted, would have extend our stay. I don't say that about every place I stay!
