Holiday Inn is usually pretty consistent in their hotels, and this one is no exception. The hotel is currently being remodeled, but we didn't notice any noise. The rooms are fine, clean with just the usual wear in spots. Breakfast was convenient and it was easy to jump onto the Pacific Coast Highway and head to wherever we wanted to spend that day. Parking was free and there is a CVS right next door just in case you, ehem, forgot to bring beach towels. The management was friendly and let us stay a little longer in the pool area after hours.

They are technically within walking distance of the beach, but it's mostly the harbor. You'll have to go a bit north to get to the point where you'd want to swim, but you can walk around the pier area (we had great churros at this tiny stand at the Redondo Beach pier).

The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are average but they are clean.
The bathroom had plenty of towels and shampoo in the room. The staff was helpful and the parking is free. I didn't care for the eggs but the rolls and the coffee was good.

I was going to give this hotel a great review until the final night - so much noise. You can hear everything in the hallway. And even though we had a room not facing the road, the noise was just awful the last night. It must have been because it was a Friday night. Prior to that night, the hotel was great - very clean, huge rooms, good breakfast, nice staff.

My family and I would highly recommend this hotel because it was conveniently located. A Longs CVS was just across the street if we needed anything in a hurry and a post office was close by also.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. One thing we liked the most about this hotel is that it has a room on the 2nd flr. to do our laundry. Talk about convenience! Also, the breakfasts every morning was excellent. Enough food to keep you going for the rest of the day.

We did some sightseeing but mostly to see our relatives living in nearby Gardena and Redondo Beach area. At the same time we paid a visit to Redondo Beach to get back some nostalgia for my husband and I. Our daughter was only about 3 or 4 when we first took her there. Now, she's going to be 20 in Sept. The place has improved quiet a bit from the last time we were there.
