“Location plus”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

Very comfortable, clean and excellent breakfast. The location provided easy access to Healdsburg as well as surrounding wine country. When our poor TV reception was reported, a technician arrive within 5 minutes and in 10 minutes, the repair was made successully.

Its away from town but the walk is doable. it talks about 25 mins to walk down there. no hill or anything like that. The sidewalks are nice felt safe walking at night after dinner. There midweek price was a quarter of the hotels on the square. Not trying to take the cheep way out but it was a nice overnight trip. Just decided to pack and go so the value was great. Spend it on wine instead is what we did.

Best Value in all of the wine country. Convenient, Clean and best mid week. The staff is very helpful. The tourists need to do their research in order to appreciate the real value of the Dry Creek Inn. If they did, they would be more respectful of the staff and hotel.

We stayed at Best Western Plus for about five days during the Barrel Tasting Weekend. We experienced a variety of negative issues. To name a few, the carpet was filthy, a chair back was broken, the bathroom faucet was broken, the drain was very slow, we had blood or makeup on our sheets, a bulb out in the bathroom, no soap available on the first day, the exercise room water was empty, soap dispenser was empty, and the food dispenser out of order. We had a neighboring guest who left a dog in their room that barked for three hours one night. Some party girls were above us and would come in every morning at 2 A.M. and dance around on the floors above us. You can hear everything. However, I must say the breakfast security/attendant was extremely nice and the breakfast was nice. The hotel location was convenient. Don't plan on supervision by staff to keep the noise under control. Crown moulding does't make it a plus. We will not recommend this or stay here again. I was surprised that some people actually thought this hotel was nice. This is a perfect place to stay if you love loud noise and barking dogs.

Dear Trip Advisor Past Guest:

Thank you for completing a review regarding your recent stay at our property.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not meeting or exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.

I regret your stay with us was unpleasant and there were various issues with your room. We are currently in the process of remodeling the rooms in our original Vintage building. Quite obviously, the room you were in has not been completed. We would have been more than happy to move you to a similar room in light of all the issues, upon request. This would have allowed us to make the necessary repairs for the next guest.

I am truly sorry the noise level at our hotel disrupted your stay with us. Unfortunately, during large Special Event weekends, this type of situation could happen. We do have policy in effect to reduce or eliminate these types of disturbances. However, due to the location of our hotel lobby, we often times are not aware of problems occurring in certain areas of the hotel unless they are reported to us. We would have no problem removing the parties disturbing the peace from the hotel without providing them a refund.

Additionally, we do have a pet policy that does not allow our guests to leave a dog or any other animal unattended in the room. Once we are notified of this problem we call the guest and have them return to the hotel, in order to resolve the issue. If we are unable to reach the guest, then animal control is called and the pet is removed from the room. I am regret you did not make us aware of this problem.

In closing, we do not want our guests to go away unhappy. Therefore, in light of the circumstances surrounding your stay, I would be more than happy offer you a complimentary night stay in the future. Since, all reviews on Trip Advisor are anonymous, in nature, simply reach out to me with your name and address and I will gladly forward you a Gift Certificate.

Your comments are very much appreciated. I hope you will have another opportunity to come back and see us again soon.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to complete your review.

Sincerely,

Aaron S. Krug

We stayed in the Tuscan building. The room was very nice with both a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. There were two pools and three hot tubs. My wife and I thought it was an excellent value compared to other hotel choices in the area. Less than 5 minute drive into town. Overall I give this place very high marks and would readily recommend it to others.

The room was good, clean and close to downtown Healdsburg. The pictures on the website are the Tuscan rooms and wish I knew that to stay in a nicer room. They do have free breakfast, but I didn't get up in time to enjoy
