The hotel is the little sister to the higher end Healdsburg Hotel up the street 2 blocks. H2 is generally a C note less pricy and geared to a younger, Euro style crowd. We got a room /spa one day package , and stayed an extra nite at standard rate. This was our 25th anniversary getaway. We did get a comp for 2 drinks in the bar, but no upgrade or Champagne as other folks, but that was nice. The room was on the creek side, plenty quiet, bamboo plants and nice furniture along with a nice view if we could have gone out to see it , it was cold and rainy most of the time. We had issues with the heat controls right away but the staff reacted promptly. As designer I appreciated the clean and fresh feel of the hotel in general, simple palette and honest materials thru out. I think for us the best thing was the bed, it was super plush with two pillow top cover layers and great pillows.
I am sure the weather had something to do with it, but there were a lot of cold, hard surfaces in the room and the all tile bath. Besides the bed, nice features were dimmer controlled lighting, sparkling water on tap down the hall, a safe in the room, good TV with DVDs on loan, really nice soaps, robes and bath accessories. The bath mirror even had a built in heater behind so when the room was all steamed up there is a perfect vertical rectangle clear and perfect. Very cool. I want this and the bed at home.
The ample included breakfast featured good local coffee ,juice, cereal & yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels with lox, hard boiled egg and an assortment of good pastries. So much better than you find in standard places. I'd like to to return when the weather is better to take in all the amenities such as the pool and the use of the cool city bikes provided for free. Also must say we had a super "massage for two" experience at the HH spa and first class dining at the Dry Creek Inn there. I would recommend this Hotel and the spa at HH to make a Healdsburg stay really memorable and special.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms are in the back overlooking the creek

Stayed as a couple in the one bedroom suite for a mini-vacation. Positives - Bed was comfortable, bath terrific with plenty of hot water, room clean and pleasant in a minimalistic way. Cons - the view of the parking lot across the street uninspiring, furniture in living room uncomfortable to sit in, and style seemed to be more important than practicality (e.g., there is a second lavatory off the living room with an "up-to-the-moment" sink but no rack for the hand towel, which was left crumpled on the sink.)
Check the sliding doors carefully, especially if you have a room in front. Ours looked closed when we arrived and as it was winter we did not open it. Our first night we slept badly because of the loud street noise, We then discovered that the door was not sealed closed, and once that was rectified slept much better the next night.

We dined elsewhere but had drinks at the bar. Drinks were good but ambiance was a little lacking.

Room Tip: The interior room overlooking the courtyard are likely quieter, but the suites are on the front sid...

This hotel is brand new right in the center of Healdsburg, so extremely practical. Healdsburg is a charming small village. They are offering complementary bikes for the guests, that was awesome! The design of the rooms and the over all ambiance of the hotel is cosy and modern, with a particular care for green environment. The outside pool was hot, heated by solar panels, a must. A free yoga class was available on Sunday morning for the guests...
we did not take it because we spent great time at the spoon bar (the bar of the hotel) at night, lots of fun and cocktails! Do not miss it!
The team of the hotel is young, dynamic, efficient and sweet!
We went there to celebrate a birthday, we had such a great time, I really recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: it's only 36 rooms, we had one located on the inside patio, so really quiet. I know that there a...

I had reservations here for our 13th year anniversary. I had reserved an eco studio but they upgraded us to an eco suite without us even asking. Thank you h2hotel. But that was just the first of many amazing surprises that awaited us during our stay. The bathroom is just amazing. Its lined with Heath tiles and has a bathtub that 4 people could fit in comfortably. They are calling it a Japanese plunge tub but I'm calling it a big [--] pool. The bed was comfortable and had my favorite Coyuchi linens. The suite had both a front and back balcony which was also a nice touch..The only letdown was that it rained the entire time we were there so we couldn't really take advantage of them but that had nothing at all to do with the hotel.Jesus, why???????????
They have a complimentary breakfast in the lobby/restaurant from 6-10.I went down at 7 am and was the only non employee down there.I also was probably the only person in Healdsburg who hadn't drank 10 bottles of wine the night before so i ate two bagels and tried a few of the other things. They also had Flying Goat coffee which was pretty good! The hotel itself is very modern and i really loved the design of the place. They even have a living garden on the roof. Lastly they have a great bar in the lobby called spoon bar, where they serve amazing drinks. The layout is nice and the bartenders are attentive without being intrusive. The hotel is located smack-dab in the middle of everything so you don't have to drive anywhere.Parking is free after 6 on the street and there seemed to be a parking lot across the street from the hotel. We already want to go back tomorrow but i will say that it is on the high end. But well worth it. Thank you very much H2hotel. We WILL be back.

H2 is the new sister hotel to the Healdsburg Hotel down the street and a comfortable option. Although we didn't take advantage of the bikes that were available due to time limitations, it seemed a great asset to the property. No real complaints- comfortable rooms with balconies, enjoyable breakfast buffet which included smoked salmon and fresh breads. Next time I am in the area, I will more than likely return.

We stayed as a couple at H2 and had a wonderful experience. We stayed in an Eco-King with private balcony, which was perfect for a relaxing morning with a french press and paper. It's centrally located, just across from the square. The cruiser bikes were nice to have but the 2 hour policy is a little silly - who goes wine tasting for only 2 hours? Spoon Bar had great cocktails but they food was lacking. The BEST food in Healdsburg is at Scopa, just across the street. Would be nice if there were a fitness center.

My husband and i stayed here for a long wine tasting weekend in Sonoma. First of all, Healdsburg is the cutest place to stay and we had really outstanding dining experiences at Charlie Palmers Dry Creek, Barndiva and Spoonbar. H2 Hotel was just so comfortable and centrally located so you can walk to everything. We stayed in an Eco King on the 3rd floor and the bed was really comfy and we loved the room's decor. What made this stay extra awesome was how comfortable the bed was and the water bar. Every floor has a water bar and you have two glass bottles (reg and sparkling)in the fridge in the room. You can refill as much as you want and this may sound funny but having access to as much fresh clean water as you want in a hotel is not that easy so this was a huge plus for us.
