“Good comfort food of Fish & Chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Came here about 3 months ago because I had some craving for fish and chips. The wait was too long so we decided to just do take out and eat in the car. Delicious and tasted fresh but definitely high in fat. People line up here for a table. The place is small and can only accommodate a few people. If you come here on a busy weekend, take out is the way to go unless willing to wait.
The price is reasonable.

“None better”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We discovered this place in 2001, and we have never gone for fish any other place. The place is always crowded, as they say "If you have a reservation, you are in the wrong place". There is a walk away window, if you can not wait. The fish and and chips are as good as, maybe even better than you would get in England. It is what you would call a shack. Oil cloth on the tables and fish net hanging from the ceiling. They have an indoor room, and a heated porch, both are comfortable, but I prefer the indoor, as you can see the harbor.
Be advised no credit cards. Cash or check only. Enjoy!

“really good food for a good price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Went there for lunch- I had clam chowder and fish and chips- it was soooo good! The fish was cod and fantastic, although a tad bit greazy. Its not fancy, was really busy but the service was fast, and we all enjoyed it!
