“Business Travelers Delight - Full Suite at single room cost”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Recently I was fortunate enough to be on business in this simply magnificent location within one of my global favorite locations, which is Awesomely Fabulous California. As my time was going to be spent in an all-business mode I was delighted to see that my "room" was indeed a full suite, with a business office area and comfortable quiet lounging area with Queen size sofa bed which area was separate entirely from the King size bedroom and bathroom areas by a long hallway - Also delightfully surprising this wonderful hotel cooks custom breakfasts for guests which cost is included in the the suite room rate. The grounds are of equal quality of a Botanical Park and the heavenly scents from the gardens filled my senses with wonderful Gardenia and Jasmine with my every step. A simply wonderful hotel, with wonderful staff and fabulously designed business traveler best wished for room layout and luxury conveniences. I shall always choose this hotel for all my business travels to this majestically beautiful region of California. Extremely reasonable cost and outstanding value. Every comfort imaginable with custom chef cooked breakfasts daily at no cost!!! Simply Incredible!!!. Thank You Pacifica Suites .......... You are #1 in Business Travel (and Tourism Travel) Two Thumbs Up - Actually Four as you deserve Two Thumbs Up and Two Big Toes Up - Well Done - Well Appreciated!!!! You Certainly Have an Outstanding Excellent Hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent. This is an All-Suites Hotel. A rare find and a jewel in the crown for San...

What an enjoyable stay. I am a Courtyard/Garden Inn fan and was looking for a change. Good choice on my part. Pleasant greeting, nice room, nice/clean pool/spa, nice free breakast, evening wine reception. Paid $5 for fitness club assess - nice vs the normal hotel offerings. True suites with nice sheets and pillows. Couple bottles of free water was nice.

I highly recommend for a most welcome change from the chains.

Room Tip: go for the pool side to avoid the highway noise. Nice views too.

These suites are a little difficult to find at first, but that's a good thing! The rooms are spacious, pretty and well maintained grounds, very clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, wine and beer in the evenings. Very pleasant.

The rooms are large and comfortable and very private. The two HD TVs had excellent quality and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the extra blanket in the closet had holes in it, but appeared to be clean.

Had a really nice overnight stay, 1 bedroom room had enough space for child on pull-out, a crib, 2 adults and a dog! Nice that it's dog friendly. Free hot breakfast that was great. Nice grounds & room.

Once again on our way to watch one of our favorite water polo players. This time, back to SB and we selected Pacifica Suites, SB. Close to campus and easy hwy access.

We were greeted with a smile upon check-in. Very friendly.

Not knowing much about PS I requested a top floor facing away from parking lots or busy streets. There are only a half handful of rooms that don't face a parking lot but still, at night it's really quit and the crickets sound huge. Love that sound.

The rooms were a fair to small size, clean and comfortable except for a little mold growing in the corners of the bathroom. Really a no frills and very standard suite. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows! Nice little balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of something while watching people come and go to their vehicles. Screen door on the slider but not on the bedroom widows so in come the bugs.

WiFi and Breakfast was included and the breakfast was very plain.

The grounds were clean and well maintained less the dry wrought on many of the wood pieces throughout the complex. There is an old home which was part of the original property owners living quarters as was a barn. Not sure if it was open to peek around on the inside.

There is a church/elementary school with a house or two next door so I would assume it would get loud in a few places. There was some-sort-of carnival going on at the school and it did get loud.

The owners should turn this into a small resort and ditch the upper-end hotel/motel idea. Most of the surrounding are so relaxing it would have been nice to enjoy a day spa.

Price was high so I think I might try a few other places comparable in price next time. I’d stay here again though.

I travel with a dog so am always on the lookout for a nice place to stay that will permit a pet. II was so pleased that I tried Pacifica Suites this year. The rooms are all suites with comfortable furnishings both inside and on the private patios. The grounds are beautiful as the hotel is nestled in among large trees on the grounds of an old estate, the large old home is an historic building with tours on some days. The room was quiet, mornings included a complete hot breakfast cooked to order and a self serve espresso machine (my personal favorite!), Monday thru Thursday the manager hosts a complimentary happy hour which made it unnecessary to travel out for dinner after a thoroughly packed day of playing tourist! The hotel is located about 4 miles from Santa Barbara and the same from the campus of UC Santa Barbara to the northwest so I saw a number of families spending time with their "children"! For those needing SB airport access, it is only 2 miles away! All in all, a great experience and I hope to enjoy this hotel again in the future!

Room Tip: Since there are 3 or 4 vending machines and an ice machine in a room available throughout the day an...
