Self-guided or docent hosted tours -(call well ahead for those).
We did the self guided tour and meandered our way through the various paths.
What an incredible array of native oriental trees and shrubs, some familiar, and many that were unknown to us.
Quarryhill is a "25-acre botanical garden of mature, flowering Asian trees & shrubs. Magnolias, dogwoods, maples, birches, roses, lilies, rhododendrons, and many others are laced with paths and hidden places to sit and relax, while surrounded by ponds, waterfalls, and vistas of the Sonoma Valley."
There is a very private feel to this place, even when others are nearby. The views of the local area from this ridge are incredible.
We visited in February, when very few specimens were in bloom, and it was still well worth the visit. The layout in several areas of the garden are near perfect.
We will certainly return again.
There are some nice wineries nearby - like Arrowwood, and Jack London State Park - with some fantastic hiking, only about two miles from here.
We only saw one of the staff, Guillermo, and he was very polite and helpful.
