“a nice hotel....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

I couldn't really call it an "inn".....it is a large, many roomed hotel.....we went on one of the online bookings....our room was small, but comfortable....and very centrally located to many different areas of wine country in Sonoma and Mendocino counties....our breakfast was at the Hoffman restaurant next door....a $25 per day offering along with the room....and the food was good....but interestingly only covered "food"....you had to pay for your coffee, juice, milk or alcohol....so even if you had $25 dollars to spend, you still had to pay for those other things....it did have a pool and spa which we did not use....however there was work going on around the pool which was outside our room and started at 7 AM each morning....that was tough since I am not an early riser....would probably stay again....

Room Tip: rooms away from road would be slightly quieter....

Stayed two nights during barrel tasting weekend. Location was perfect. Staff very friendly. Surrounded by grapevines. Did not use pool or hot tub, although, hot tub had dirt in bottom. Would definitely stay again depending on room rates.

The Inn is located near the 101 and very convenient to some of the finer California wineries. Nicely furnished and very comfortable, with a spa and heated pool located in the central courtyard. The staff were very accommodating.

We came here with friends trying to avoid the over commercialized "Napa" wine vacation, looking more for a low key, small town wine getaway & we found it! This place was so quaint, & clean, just so well put together. It was such a relaxing, nice place to escape to & still have the full wine tasting experience, just what we needed! The rooms were new, very clean & so comfortable. We spent the end of every night in the hot tub, sipping the finds of the day & relaxing, it was perfect! The staff was extremely nice & welcoming & the food next door was absolutely amazing! We would definitely recommend this place to others & will be staying here again ourselves.

Located in the Alexander Valley, the hotel is surrounded my Grape vines. So pleasant, peaceful, and relaxing. The people who manage the place always take such good care of me and of all my requests. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub. And a very nice restaurant(Hoffman House) conveniently next door for breakfast.

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side might be a little quieter.

We stayed there on a trip through northern California and visited the wineries in the Geyserville area and the Anderson Valley. The inn is pretty updated with fresh colors and comfortable beds. The front desk was very helpful in recommending wineries and the Diavola Resturant in town. We had breakfast next door at the Hoffman House and it was a wonderful, relaxed and the large meal. Highly recommend the Geyserville Inn and the town as well. If you are burned out on Napa, go to Geyserville and see what Napa was like 30 years ago!

Room Tip: No elevator so if that is a problem request a room on the first floor.

We stayed with the Travelzoo voucher and were very happy with our experience. Room was well appointed, had new flat screen TV, and was clean except for the bathroom counter. They are granite and looking at them at an angle could see they did not seem to be wiped down as often as they should be. Otherwise thought it was a great visit, but might not be worth the near $200 I expect the room rents for in high season. Oh and the bed was very comfortable.

Make sure you go to the Locals wine room in town...great experience and nice way to try multiple vineyards side by side.
