“Great Value in Vineyard Area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

Nestled in the vineyards off HWY 128 is the Geyserville Inn, a great place to stay when visiting the Alexander Valley and Dry Creek area, especially when you can get a great deal on Travelzoo, as we did. We paid $119 for a King Size room with fireplace. The price included breakfast for 2 ($20 value) plus a bottle of bubbly in the room and coupons for tastings at nearby wineries,. There is a refreshing pool and a hot tub PLUS I was so thrilled with the FAST and FREE internet connection. The rooms are comfortable with chartreuse green bed coverings, white moldings and a friendly staff,. The breakfast at The Hoffman House next door (same owners as the Inn) was lovely with dining on the porch. My crab cake Benedict with farm potatoes was delicious and others in our group enjoyed the eggs ranchero and the fresh fruit with yogurt. If you can get a deal, this is a great place to stay near multiple wineries, vineyards, and sightseeing. Lots of fabulous restaurants in Healdsburg. Bathrobes are in the rooms as is a refrigerator and coffeemaker. We wouldn’t pay $280 a night for the place, but at $119, it is definitely 4 stars.

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs balcony room in the back of the building. The poolside is closest to the road an...

I attended an event in Healdsburg 7/28 and was unable to get a Saturday night, only, reservation almost anywhere in Sonoma County. Geyserville is only 8 miles from Healdsburg, the Inn allowed a one night only stay. I requested a standard room with a balcony - there was some mix-up in the reservation, the Inn was sold out - no room with balcony was available, so the Manager, Craig - set-up us in the Key West Suite located at the back of the property.

It was a FAB-U-LOUS stay. Thank you, Craig!

I had an event in Windsor and was unable to locate anything closer. Turns out the Geyserville Inn is only about 13 miles north and very nice. Small, clean and very hospitable-we were able to purchase wine at the counter when we ran out and no one bothered us for taking our dinner and wine out to the pool. Very affordable for the neighborhood and great service in a beautiful setting. What more do you need?

Room Tip: There are several rooms with doors directly out onto the pool.

This is a nice hotel that is primo when it comes to location. It is right in the heart of Dy Creak and some of the best wineries in the world. The hotel itself is pretty basic but very clean. The rooms are not huge but nice enough. Walls are a bit thin. Rooms have a fridge and ours had a gas fireplace. There is a nice pool and the views are great. It is set up to host weddings and I think it would be great for that. One of our group stayed in the wedding cottage and that was quite impressive.

We were there on a maximum activity weekend in Geyserville so we paid dearly for the room but it was better than paying for a DUI after the fire department dinner and dance. You probably get better deals on a quiet weekend. Note that there are not many hotels in this area so supply and demand are in effect.

We had breakfast at the Hoffman House next door and that is a must do. The food (breakfast and lunch) was fantastic. I have stayed here before and look forward to going back.

Room Tip: Upstaires you won't hear feet above. Second floor probably gets a better view of the vineyards

This inn is not fancy at all, but it is very clean and a good value. It is a terrific location if you like to wine taste in the Dry Creek area...some of our favorite wineries are located here. The Hoffman House net door is terrific foe breakfast too, but not cheap. We will definitely stay here again if they keep their pricing in line.

We stayed two nights at the Geyserville Inn. We had a room with a king bed facing east towards the grape vines and mountains. We had a small deck with two chairs. Beautiful view, especially late afternoon when the sun was shining on the mountains.
The room was okay, nothing special. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large, but space not well utilized. They could have had a larger vanity. Lots of empty floor space. The bathroom was also very dated. Old floor tile, etc.
The man at the front desk was a little snippy. He was there each time we went by the front desk, so he must work a lot. Maybe that's why he was unpleasant.
It was quiet and peaceful. We slept well!

Nice rooms and friendly staff but no deals for breakfast so a little shock for the uninitiated.
Its a mile or more to town so get the hiking shoes on if you want to enjoy a little imbibing with the evening meal. The Inn has no restaurant so its next door for breakfast or lunch or downtown.
Friendly reception staff who point you in the right direction.

Room Tip: Go for a room with a balcony
