“Wine, Dine and Sunshine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Hopefully my review will help you decide/understand if this winery is for you !!

This is a beautiful location to visit in Wine Country ... but if you are interested in learning in-depth information about wine making and having an extensive tour from field to bottle processing ... this is not the location for you.

This property sits in Geyserville rolling hills of beautiful vineyards. The property is impressive with beautiful buildings, landscape and gardens. The tour provides historical information on Francis Ford Coppola and why he's created this lovely property for couples, families and friends to visit. It's about the POOL and having a place to relax and enjoy yourself!!

For me personally, I loved this property. The tour was informative on Mr. Coppola (as noted above) and included a brief walk to the vineyards where they provided basic wine growing information that didn't put me to sleep. The tasting included a mix of wines from low to higher pricing that were all delicious. The shops have a wide selection of items including Coppola Sauces. We didn't dine in the main dining area; however, it looked peaceful with a wonderful menu. We went for the pool ...

This property is about wine, dine and sunshine ... we spent the afternoon at the pool and as noted in other reviews it's best to reserve in advance. It's pricey ... but as a vacation afternoon ... it was money well spent for a couple of friends catching up on our lives. Our reservation included a changing/shower room referred to as a cabines along with reserved cushioned chairs, umbrellas, towels and water. Also included (or take home) were Sofia canned wines, signature water bottles and playing cards (nice perk !!)

The service at the pool is OUTSTANDING ... and I always say ... service is usually outstanding when you are nice. The lighter menu was perfect and if our wine or drinks were low they were quick to refil and ask if you needed anything else.

Again, it's about the pool and a beautiful place to relax.

Mr. Coppola ... thanks for creating this wonderful property !!

“Great place to visit, but book early for the pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

We visited mid week with the hope of getting around the pool, but it was too busy. I did try and book the day before. Instead we did the tour, which included some tasting. It was an interesting tour, but skipped the most interesting part, the fermentation. We then strolled around the movie memorabilia (the trip was probably worth it for this alone).

“Bottling Tour - Not much to see”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Visited August 2013.

We took the bottling tour which is probably not much different than other tours. Guide gave us a little history of the property, took us to the edge of the vineyard and then to a walkway over the bottling line. Finished in the tasting room.

We took several tours on our trip to wine country and this was just average. There is some movie memorabilia to see as well

“Bad Experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

We were all dissapointed at this winery. Not very friendly staff at all. I am not sure why may be"prejudice". So I would not recommend Geyserville wineries for anyone. I thought the facility was over rated.

“Best Winery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

I love Coppola wine. They are all good. The Rosso is my all-round favorite as a good value red. There is a great restaurant on site overlooking the vineyards. Portions are BIG and very tasty. There is also a souvenier shop on site and a lot of interesting movie memorabilia. There is a swimming pool and people can stay here as well, although we never looked into it. If you can only go to one or two wineries in the area, I would recommend Coppola Winery along with Inspiration Vineyards.
