“Happy With Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

We were very pleased with our choice to stay here. We reserved a King with sofa bed which was enough room for our family of four. The bedding at this hotel is superb, the pillows are wonderful,a great night sleep after exhausting days at Disneyland. The hotel parking was free and convenient enough for the area and the free shuttle saved us in parking at the parks. There is a mini-refrigerator in the room and single-serve coffee pods. The hotel has a restaurant and quick-serve cafe as well as room service. We dined in room one evening and the food was good. A great deal at 30% off on a three night stay and good experience overall. We will consider Wyndham again in the future.

We stayed here for four nights as part of a last-minute Disneyland trip. We normally stay right across the street from Disney, but given the last-minute nature of the trip, nothing was available in that area. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was ready immediately. We had booked a family room that had one king bed, and bunk-beds for the kids. This was a great configuration for us. We used the pool everyday, and I used the gym once. Pool was a decent size and the area was clean and well stocked with towels. The gym had cardio equipment, universal gym equipment, and free weights - which was certainly adequate for a quick workout. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant. There are several restaurants right out front of the hotel including a Red Robin, Joey's Crab Shack, Outback Steakhouse, Coco's Restaurant, and others such as Subway and other fast-food within walking distance. There is also a Target right across the street. We ate supper mainly at the Red Robin because it offers decent salads and burgers for a quick meal after spending all day in Disney.

Maid service kept coming later in the day which was usually around the time we had returned from Disney for a mid-afternoon break. So for half the days we stayed we just asked for a few shampoo/conditioner, and told them not to bother with the rest. The housekeepers were very friendly.

We used the hotels shuttle bus to and from Disney. Service was acceptable, some days it was VERY late. The contracted service picks up from three hotels with the Wyndham being the second, so at times seating was a challenge, and on at least one occasion there was no seating left when we arrived at the third property. On numerous occasions we had to stand on the bus in order to ride because it was so full.

This property charges a resort fee (they call it a Hospitality Fee), which we found really frustrating. It allows the hotel to offer rooms at a lower rate, or on discount sites, and then recoup money when you check-in via this fee. We saw more than one guest get really upset when told they'd have to pay this fee. I was aware of it when I booked, although wasn't too happy about it. The fee includes things that many other properties include in there rates like wifi, shuttle to Disney, etc. It also includes parking...which is free to anyone who happens to park in the lot behind the hotel because nobody tracks which vehicles are staying at the hotel, and which are not - you don't need a pass, you just find a spot and park for as long as you want.

For us the resort fee and hassle of taking a shuttle will preclude us from staying here in the future. But if you don't mind those things, the hotel is quite nice and staff were friendly.

We're glad to have welcomed you and appreciative of this thoughtful review of your stay. It's always a pleasure to hear when our team's hospitality sets the mark for an experience, and we're glad that yours was a mostly enjoyable one. With that, we apologize that elements of your visit missed the mark. Our competitive resort fee offers our guests access to the many top of the line amenities, referenced here, including the convenience of our Disney shuttle service. Regarding this, we're sorry that some of your trips were crowded ones; we understand the frustration, and we apologize. We'll certainly share the feedback and work toward quick correction, and we hope that you'll consider joining us again to share in our continued evolution.

I have a good stay in this hotel, room condition is good, like other American Hotel, mostly they got very spacious in room size. Unfortunately, it's same as most of the American Hotel, the shower head was not sufficient in water pressure and it was stick on the wall. Anyhow, the most important is you can arrive Disneyland in 15 mins and they got shuttle bus free to transport in between until late night.

It's such a pleasure to have shared in this Disney adventure alongside you and your family. We're thrilled that you enjoyed the convenience of our shuttle services, and we hope that you'll join us the next time you return to the area. We'd love the opportunity to stage a return visit to rival this first!

The air conditioner didnot work properly and even after informing the help desk, no body bothered to check.
Coffee mugs were not there every single day. Had to call them after we woke up everymorning. The shuttle bus is not for just this hotel, so it made more pit stops before actually take us back to disney.
Will not go back there for sure.

If you're going to Disneyland, this is a really nice hotel to stay at. Friendly staff, clean rooms, every thing you need is right there. Plus, Target is across the street. The bell desk and valet seriously are incredible!! We loved the suite with two queen beds and a separate area for the kids PLUS a second bathroom.

I stayed at the Wyndham Hotel for my daughters birthday weekend. I choose this location because it is 10 minutes way from Disneyland and this hotel offers unlimited use of the shuttle to Disneyland which is included in the hospitality fee also the internet. Upon arriving to the hotel Austin the valet attendant greeted me with a friendly smile and ask me if I needed help with my luggage. Check in was excellent. I was assist at the front desk by Boris, who was very friendly, very informative and greeted me with a big smile. I was surprise to find out that he was the Manager and was assisting at the front desk. The lobby was very nice. The rooms were very clean and the kids loved the bunk beds. The swimming pool was very clean and the staff keep the towels fully stocked at all times. We ate at dinner at the restaurant in the hotel which was recommended by Boris. The food was great. Boris was kind enough to have a slice of cheesecake sent to our table and his staff sing Happy Birthday to my daughter. That was totally unexpected... I mentioned that we were staying at the hotel for my daughters birthday when we checked in but I never would have thought that he would do something so kind. That made her weekend. I would highly recommend this hotel because of the friendly staff, cleanliness and location.
