“Awesome staff, hotel was as expected! Happy days”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

We stayed here for one night as a stop off so we could drive into Yosemite for the day before heading the long drive to Las Vegas, the customer service was excellent, if I could remember their names I'd definitely give them a mention. (The guy who was into wrestling and the girl with the tattoo sleeve!)

Hotel was of a good standard, maybe a little tired but price was spot on, room was comfortable and the included breakfast was far better than we expected. Would definitely stay here again if passing through on our next road trip.

Once again we chose to go with the high praise from TripAdvisor comments and were pleased with our choice. Had a great overnight stay on our way to Yosemite. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with great beds! The hot breakfast was very good, the cookies were great...and as a tea drinker, I was very pleased with the variety of tea choices offered. Highly recommend!

We discovered a real gem in north Fresno at the Country Inn & Suites. It's just off rte. 41 but the rooms are nice and quiet. It's an older place so it feels solid. They're in the midst of upgrading the facilities- new carpet, etc. but our stay was excellent. Great price, too.
The staff was very helpful with a particular mound of praise to Jessica at the front desk. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She helped us with a map to get to Wahoo's Fish Tacos (we were thrilled to find one in Fresno). Jessica seemed genuinely happy with herself and her life and it showed in her work.
If we're ever back in the area we'd stay here in a heartbeat!

After traveling to Fresno through 105 degree heat, we were shocked to find out our room didn't have a refrigerator. It was incredible - me with a leg injury, being on the 3rd floor and having to hobble to the ice machine next to the lobby for a little bucket of ice. When asked about the missing fridge, we were told that since we had booked our room through Hotels.com, we were NOT ENTITLED TO A FRIDGE. Yes, they could move us to a different room, but then we'd have to pa full price-- which the clerk couldn't quote because "the prices fluctuate." On the brighter side, a front desk clerk, Carla helped us by storing our ice packs in the kitchen freezer. In order to get to them, someone had to unlock the kitchen door, but it was very kind of her to try to find a solution. Also, Joseph helped us out immensely. With folks like Joseph and Carla, our stay was made as comfortable as possible. They should get medals!.

Room Tip: call ahead and make sure your room has a refrigerator in it.

We stayed in this hotel for one night after a day in Yosemite.

Very good experience :
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Decent breakfast.
Rooms are upto the standard. Just the sofa-beds are in a very bad shape and to be replaced.

As usual, a few pros and cons here. The pros were fantastic staff who checked us in, recommended a great bar and turned on the AC whilst we went and drank in it. Clean rooms, safe, pool and hot tub. Free cookies and fruit.

The only con was the AC was too loud to leave on while we slept, otherwise it gets 5 stars.

Stayed one night as my husband and I were flying out of Fresno to Hawaii. Jessica was very nice and has great customer service. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel was located near the freeway in a good location, plenty of parking. Good continental breakfast, very fresh fruit. And yummy cookies at Reception desk. Will stay there again.
