Nice, clean room with all the amenities you'd expect from a budget hotel. We got a queen size and it's a bit small, but it's just fine. Four HBO channels and a homemade waffle for breakfast! The hotel staff was really nice and helpful. The only drawback from some people might be that it is right next to a cemetery (although there was no strange, creepy sound at night or anything). We paid $50 for the night and it was well worth it.

It was a cheap hotel that looked like it might not be that bad, and that's what it was. Was it sparkling clean? No. Was it amenity-packed? No. But was it acceptable? For $40 a night, yes.

It is in a seedy part of town but it seperated by a main street and a convenience store from the row of several cheaper hotels and so this probably keeps the trouble over there. It was very busy on the Friday night I was there and didn't have problem with noise.

THe staff were nice, friendly.
Continental Breakfast is only from 6-9 so I kept missing it, can;t comment on the quality, probably not much to write home about.

No coffee maker in the room, but my guess is they'd have to replace it weekly. Coffee was offered in the lobby all day. I was Issued my tv remote upon check in. :-)

My room didn't have an iron, but my guess is I could have gotten one if I needed one.

The cheap bed was actually very comfortable, and although the pillows were scarey lumpy, they were actually pretty comfy.

Not much in the area for dining other than Denny's, fast food, and Taqueria/Night club, but not too far to a better side of town.

I was in Fresno for a friend's wedding so another friend and I went halvers on a room. Found this place through priceline for $50/night for two queen beds.

The room wasn't too bad. Random stains on the carpets and walls. Bathroom door was broken and had no lock, so you couldn't shut it completely and itd slowly open on its own. The beds were somewhat comfortable but the sheets were itchy. The bath towels were like sandpaper and the water in the shower was not very warm. TV remote didn't work and there was something wrong with the TV itself. Mini fridge didn't work. Only got one bar of teeny-tiny soap and a ketchup packet of shampoo.

My friend from Fresno said that the area this Econo Lodge is in is considered the ghetto/bad part of town.

I wouldnt stay here again.

i booked a hotel on econolodge.com in fresno because it was a good stopping point on my road trip and i knew i'd be arriving late and i wanted a clean room in a well-known hotel. i asked for a non-smoking, quiet room on the second floor. i got to the room and it was so disgusting and it overlooks a cemetery!!! the air conditioner is so full of dirt that we were afraid to turn it on and there's a non-smoking sign bolted to the wall. the security lock is broken off the door. it's really a nightmare at this hotel! the staff is friendly enough, but i've never seen such a dirty hotel and I paid FIFTY dollars! The dirtiness and overall decor is what i would expect from a motel that rents rooms by the hour.
