“Great hotel for business trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

The Hyatt Place was a perfect location for attending business in Fremont. It is also in relatviely close proximity for visiting San Francisco and the Bay Area. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than sufficient with lots of choices. Additional food, snack and beverages were always available from the front desk as well as room service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There are a multitude of restaurants and a shopping center within a short driving distance from the hotel.

Been staying at the Hyatt Place Fremont in the last couple of years, 2-3 times a year when traveling to the area on Business, and always feel like at home when arriving there.
The staff seems to understand the true value of service and it is reflected throughout the entire stay.
I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Stayed here for about 4-5 weeks. Just your standard Hyatt Place. Was always consistent as far as service, cleanliness and pricing.

I like Hyatts point system, and wouldve continued staying here if they hotel didnt drop my corporate rate. When that happened, I went back to the full service Marriott right down the street.

Breakfast was good, but again the standard breakfast.

There is literally nothing around the hotel, and there is often heavy traffic (due to construction) headed down Warren road towards restaurants, so be aware.

Nothing special. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Basic breakfasts. Preferred when the yoghurts were in individual pots and not one large bowl.
Close to the freeway and local offices.
Geared towards business travellers rather than tourists.

Pros:
- clean rooms (much more better than the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis)
- spacy rooms
- complimentary parking
- friendly staff
- free bus shuttle service within a radius of 8 miles
Cons:
- stinky room; it reeked of peperoni sandwich the whole week and you could not open a window)
- small breakfast area which was mostly crowded
Important notice: avoid a room on the side of the freeway! The hotel is not equipped with soundproof windows.

Excellent front desk/check in experience.I don't remember the employees name but It was a young very professional Filapina that explained all the amenities (the in house buisness center complete with computer copier and fax machine) I was even given a tour of the exercise facilities . The rest of the staff that I encountered we're equally professional and so helpful at every turn. The Rooms we're spacious ,clean and the hallways quiet.

Room Tip: Some travelers mentioned that the breakfast seating area is small which it is but I didn't have...

Have been staying here periodically for past 2 years. 1st, all the staff are great and do everything they can for you. 2nd, in last few months there was a manager change. The previous manager was super: there was no job he didnt pitch in for. in the morning when the breakfast rush was on, he bussed tables and brought out more food. If he saw there were 3 queued at front desk, he came out to speed it up. The new manager...not so much. Examples: went down to exercise room at 5 am...noticed someone tracked in mud on the lift floor. At 8 am when I went down for breakfast same mud smear. The disinfecting wipe container in exercise room was empty the entire stay and the one before that in June. It used to take no more than a few minutes to get down for breakfast. Now it seems 1 lift is reserved for housekeeping. On day 2 of stay it took 8 minutes (waiting for lift took 5) & lift stopped on every floor. So to most guests just here for 1 short stay probably still a 4 or 5. For someone like me: 3.5 & slowly descending...like the lifts.
