“Do not MISS this bakery!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

We were enjoying an amazing wine tasting at the Joesph Phelps winery (across the street) when we noticed tons of cars parked in front of this little store. We knew it must be something special and boy, we were right! The bread we bought at this bakery was some of the best I've ever had. Our favorite was the cheese bread...absolutely divine. We also bought scones and sticky buns for our kids. If you are in the area you must stop here!

“Best Bakery Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

You can not miss this place. Fresh bread & scones to eat as you are taking a break from your visit to wine country. The place was packed but we were in and out in 5 minutes. We sat outside on a bench to eat our lunch - bread only - and well worth it. Looked like a lot of people (road bikers) made this a destination in their trip. Great place.

“Bread is amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

We got a loaf of the Goat Flat bread which is a type of cheese and this was delicious. We also got a loaf of the Egyptian which had figs, pears, and ginger. We got one of the big sticky buns because some friends suggested it, but we were not as impressed with it as we were with the two loaves of bread. Also, check out their wonderful garden located just outside.

By the way, here is my suggestion for an incredible meal that is relatively reasonable and offers a great view. First, stop at this Wild Flower Bread place and get a loaf of the Goat Flat bread (and whatever else you may want). Second, go to the Spud Point Crab restaurant (1860 Westshore Rd, Bodega Bay, 94923 707.875.9472 - see my TripAdvisor review of this place as well) and get at least one order of the clam chowder to go. Drive north out of Bodega Bay on Highway 1 just a mile or so and turn left into one of the many turn outs overlooking the Pacific Ocean (assuming its not foggy!). Tear little bite size chunks of the Goat Flat bread and submerge them (a few pieces at a time) into the clam chowder (which will still be piping hot!), then use your plastic spoon to fish them out and enjoy! Great view, great food, reasonable price! My wife and I did this for both lunch and dinner on the same day.

“Amazing Baked Goods!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

We have stopped here a few times on our way to Occidental and always have had great coffee, fantastic breads, and very friendly service from people who seem to have a true passion for baking. The asiago, herb mushroom scone is divine, as is the meyer lemon, strawberry, rhubarb one I tried. We always get the goat flats with green onion and our friend swears by the chocolate scones. There is always a line, but it really is worth it and I despise waiting for anything as it usually turns out to be all hype. This place consistently impresses me. I wish it wasn't so far from me. Cash only! Bring at least a $20 because you'll want to buy a variety!

“Worth the drive!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

We went WAY out of our way to eat here based off a friends recommendation. We are so glad we did. What a gem. I think this was the best bread I've had anywhere hands down. The staff was so great, and they even gave our dog some water and let her come in out of the heat.
They only take cash and you will Lilly spend a good amour here cuz everything is so yummy so come prepared but miss it!
