We were very happy with our stay, especially for the price we paid (quite a deal!). We were upgraded to an ocean-view room for no additional charge, and the view was quite nice. The room was clean and a good size, and seemed to have been updated fairly recently (new fixtures in bathroom, etc.). I was perfectly happy with the continental breakfast in the morning--standard fare--although my husband would have preferred more fruit. The pool was pretty small (and on the colder side of heated), but I was still able to swim laps--and I had it all to myself. The woman at reception (the owner?) was very friendly and pleasant to us and everyone else I saw her interact with, even the child who spilled cereal all over the floor in the morning. We didn't use the beach access but it seemed convenient, and while we drove into town, we probably could have walked (maybe a mile from the Best Western to the main shopping area?). I would definitely stay here again.

The Manor Lodge is just north of town, a good location but there are better ones. It's on the opposite side of the road from the beach. Most rooms have a view of the beach and the foot bridge that goes over glass beach one cliff to the other. Our room up stairs was large with refrigerator & microwave, the microwave kept popping the breaker, to bad really no use and they couldn't fix it. Toilet was small, as was the sink, the shower was nice. The room had two queen beds very comfortable, nice bedding & pillows were good, rug was good condition, The room was fresh clean and comfortable with a good view of the ocean and footbridge. Free Continental breakfast was good laid out till 10am. It had waffles and cereals, oatmeal, toast and muffins and breakfast cakes coffee an juice, all you may expect for a conti breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. We stay for a week, Christmas to New Years and were comfortable and enjoyable. The door to the room had issues but nothing that would make us move to another room or hotel. So all in all it's a nice place to stay, we enjoyed our time there, we hope you do too.
