The wait to be seated is worth it. The pasta is good but the bread is great. One can order a 1/2 meal as the full plate is larger than a most people would eat. A little noisy so be ready to strain to hear across the table. The kitchen is "right there" in the room with you so you can talk to the cooks if you wish. Great food and priced just a little high but then it is less that most places in Fort Bragg. This is a very family friendly place. Kids will love it too. We have been coming here for the past 10 years or so. They even let us bring in our own wind and charged a small corkage fee for the glasses. For some reason almost all the dining places are high priced and not as clean as I would wish.

Write your name on the chalkboard...wait outside for your name to be called...but be patient, because the wait is worth it. This place is about as authentic NY-style as it gets. The meatball and garlic pizza is to die for. The antipasto is awesome...the family that runs the place are cordial and friendly and very busy. They may seem 'short' at times, because they are way too busy with happy diners ordering great...GREAT FOOD!

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here on a Friday night in late March. The whole experience couldn't have been more perfect or fun! The staff was sincerely helpful, accomodating, and happy that we had chosen their restaurant for our event. They went out of their way to accomodate our large party and make everything memorable for our special occassion. Even coodinating the event with my mother-in-law from Arkansas! Beyond the people and service, the food was AMAZING! Our glasses were never empty, and our guests were actually sharing their dinners just to get a taste of everything. Definitely something for everyone since we had ages ranging from 8mo. to more than 70. Everyone walked away happy and full. We had a great time.
If you have a special occasion like ours and want an unpretentious place where family, food, and service comes first., if you want a place where everyone can have a good time with out extravagant cost.
