My husband and I had the pleasure of discovering of this wonderful Chinese restaurant when friends invited us to join them for dinner last night. We were both born and raised in San Francisco and have not found a Chinese restaurant that falls between the very good but expensive Gary Chu in Santa Rosa and the decent chain of Panda Express. If you are looking for Mandarin/Szechuan food made with Fresh ingredients, Excellent Sauces, a deft hand in the kitchen, generous portions and excellent service this is the place to go! I always look for how a Chinese restaurant prepares standard dishes and they served the BEST Shrimp Fried Rice I've had in a long long time. Large pieces of fresh shrimp (not the little minced bits your more likely to find) with a very light mixture of rice and veggies - wow it was a wonderful surprise. Other wonderful dishes you must try are the Honey Roasted Walnut Shrimp made with jumbo shrimp in an outstanding creamy sauce. It's a rich and delicious entree. Also not to be missed is the Sizzling Scallops with Beef. This dish is a meal in itself with wonderful stir-fried vegetables and excellent sauce with lots of tender scallops and slices of fork tender beef. We also had the Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce. It's listed as spicy, but it really isn't - just wonderful tender pork, peppers, onions in a balanced garlic sauce. This was the first time there and definitely not our last!!! Open 7 days a week for dinner and take out.
