Description: A boutique eatery in Forestville that uses local, organic, sustainable products that Chef Jeff Young turns into really delicious food. Beer and wine are available while dining on the small garden patio or sitting at the chef's counter watching the couple prepare your meal. All items on the menu are also available for take out. Twist is open Tuesday through Saturday. Opens at 11:00.

“Delicious Food in West County”

Twist Eatery serves up savory and delicious food...it feels like every dish was made just for you. It is sweet little restaurant with a cozy indoor counter area and a sprinkling of outdoor tables (heat lamp available on those cooler days). The two owners are great hosts and cooks...this is a personal endeavor and the attention to detail shows in the cooking. I've eaten there many times, can recommend their softly scrambled eggs dishes, the chicken-salad, the pulled-pork sandwich, their soups, their great daily Teacher's Specials ($9.99) and more....I highly recommend Twist for YUM West County fare---organic, local, thoughtfully prepared and ample portions.

My friend and I found this wonderful small restaurant by accident on the way to Sonoma for wine tasting.and were we happy. It is a small cafe with counter service and an outside patio. it was cold and rainy so we decided to start with coffee. as we waited for the coffee that came out in a French press . I joked about wanting a mimosa and it was so good. We had a bowl of turkey soup that tasted like thanksgiving served with some wonderful grilled bread from the local bakery down the street. We shared the teachers special a grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia with buffalo mozzarella arugula avocado and some kind of pesto mayo. The service was great. We told a lot of people at the wineries we visited about our great little discovered gem. They even gave us a great recommendation for dinner that night, Zin in Healsburg.
