My family and I ate at Thai Siam on a regular night about 7:30pm just to try it. We entered the restaurant, and there were no customers but us. That was already a hint that we should not have eaten there!! Anyways, I was craving for a Sour-Coconut soup (Tom Yum) ,so we ordered that, and the Thai fried rice with beef, and some other fish special. The chicken in the sour soup was terrrible. It tasted like old, fish-like taste. I never tasted any chicken like that before in my life and I have tried other Thai soup in other Thai restaurants, and they did not taste like that either. The portion of the fried rice was enough for 2 people only for $7.95. And I do not want to talk about the other menus anymore. The location is nice, but the food is not at all. The food server was making us feel that she was in a hurry to go home, so we should eat fast!! You would think that you are the only customer there, so they should at least give you the best they have got with excellent service, but no!! Disappointing thinking that there are not much Thai places in Folsom, and nearby areas.
