“Great Breakfast Buffet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We had breakfast there twice and loved it! The service is excellent! The breakfast buffet was the best, tons of options. The second morning we ordered off of the menu and it was delicious too. They are so nice and even offered coffee to go on our way out.

“Excellent food, great service, but a bit pricey.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

The food was wonderful. I highly recommend their ribeye steak with the roquefort sauce - outstanding! My wife had the plank salmon - also very good. The prices are quite high, which is probably to be expected near a national park. Their wine prices are especially high. I recommend bringing your own bottle and paying the $15 corkage fee.

“Not what you would expect for a Thanksgiving dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Thanksgiving Buffet at Tenaya;s Grandball room was OK, The food was just Ok. They ran out of plates and a lot of people were standing around waiting and the worst thing was that it was messy. There was piano music with dinner so you would of expected a very neat appearance, food was sloped down serving dishes all over and never spruced up , empty pots not refilled quickly very unprofessional for at 40 per person dinnne

“Cold buffet and slow service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

We went to breakfast here and decided on the $18.95 buffet. We figured it would be cheaper or about the same as buying an entree and coffee. The buffet items were barely warm in their warming dishes. The pancakes were hard and lacked any taste. The buffet is not worth the money. We started with one waitress who was excellent--Connie. She left and went on a meal break and left the manager in charge. The manager briefly checked in and then disappeared for 15 min making us chase her down with our bill. At one point there was not a single waiter in the dining room for at least 15 min. She never gave us our juice either. Overall I would not recommend the buffet. But I will try an entree on the menu tomorrow. Hopefully it will be hot.

“Slow service, overpriced, don't bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Had breakfast and dinner here while staying at Tenaya Lodge. Captive audience means SYSCO grade food, high prices and servers who are friendly, but uninformed and uninspired. Bar next door OK - but then again, expectations were lower...
