“Best place we've ever stayed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2011

This was our third stay here and it just gets better. We have now stayed in all 3 of their rooms and they are all beautiful. The location is great and frankly it is more than worth the slightly longer drive in to the park to stay here.

The view from all the rooms of the meadow and creek is lovely, especially when you can watch the deer in the evenings.

As others have said, the hosts, Pam and John could not be more friendly and helpful; they really make this place. Pam is especially helpful with ideas for walks and will happily give advice, show you photos lend you directions etc.

Whenever we are coming up to Yosemite this is where we will stay, if it's not already fully booked of course!

“Awesome place to relax after the crowds in YNP.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2011 via mobile

We would definitely stay here again. They thought of every detail and we loved falling asleep with the sounds of Big Creek in the background. Wonderful place to get away from the YNP crowds.

“One of the highlights of Yosemite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2011

This bed and breakfast made the difference between a good trip and a fantastic one. Yes, the accomodations are great but it's the hosts; Pam and John, that make this B&B stand out. They are passionate about the park and the surrounding lands. Pam guided us to hiking trails that we would enjoy, even letting us borrow their snow shoes! We would not have enjoyed our Yosemite trip as much without their coaching.

“Warm, welcoming,and wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2011

Big Creek Inn is only two miles from the South entrance of Yosemite, that is why we chose to stay there. We were so happy to find that it is also a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Pamela and John really make you feel at home. They have thought of every detail to make your stay a great one. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room and is a generous spread of cereals, breads and muffins, hard-boiled eggs, Canadian bacon, yogurts, juices, etc. Pamela is very helpful in helping you to plan your days in Yosemite, if you so desire. We hope to come again.

“Clean, Quiet, Friendly -- Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2011

This is a wonderful place to stay for a vacation in Yosemite. The Inn is clean and quiet with very nice comfortable rooms. The breakfast bar selections are expansive and of very high quality - pastries, breads, fresh fruit, cheese, HB eggs, canadian bacon, cereals, hot oatmeal, juices, milk coffee and more (For hiking, Pam will also provide a tremendous breakfast that can be taken along for an early start/departure - ours kept us going all day). There is a comprehensive library of guides to the Park and Pam can expand on those and help you choose hikes, sites and outings. The Inn also has Satellite TV, WiFi and an incredible DVD collection for relaxing after a long day in the Park. We specifically chose Big Creek hoping for a quiet place to stay/sleep and were not dissapointed -- after visiting some of the larger/institutional hotels, we clearly made a great choice.

Room Tip: Three rooms - all are wonderful.
