I offered my wife the trip of her choice for her birthday (may 20) She choose to give up a trip to Hawaii to stay in Tori and Dean’s B&B (chateau La Rue) . We have never stayed in a B&B and didn’t quite know what to expect. We knew that Tori and Dean were out on Maternity leave until Liam gets them completely trained. We saw Tori on Jimmy Kimmel Live and she said that her friend Jim was running it. We expected a stiff nosed Inn keeper watching our every move, I mean after all it is a working T.V. set. Jim set us at ease immediately. He was so laid back and nice, we could not believe it. The House was amazing and just being there kind of made it feel as if we were special. Nothing was off limits. Jim went out of his way to make it the best weekend ever. We would move into Chateau La Rue if they would let us. We are already starting to plan our next trip out.

P.S. The carriage house was amazing.

I was a little apprehensive....as I think were Tori and Dean when they went on this adventure.

But I couldnt have had a better time. Great rooms, amazing decor, wonderful quaint property....Tori and Dean succeeded in building a modernized bed and breakfast, which is what I see is the future of boutique hotels.

The town of Fallbrook is surprisingly a quaint and eclectic excursion. I certainly wouldn't live there, but it is great to visit--a true and unique escape.

I'll definitely return. Great job Tori and Dean!
