“Good place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

We stopped here after leaving Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park (a must see!). The room was clean and away from street traffic. The only minor drawbacks were the 'elephant footed' lady upstairs (noisy clomping around) and the front desk clerk at checkin who needed smiling lessons. We would stay here again if we come this way again.

We stayed here 2 nights on Sat 16th & Sun 17th August 2014 as part of our 14 day Road Trip from Las Vegas via various places ending up in San Francisco. It was what we'd expect from a BW hotel. The room was clean & a good size & the bed was comfortable. The hotel is on the edge of town so unfortunately there wasn't a restaurant we could walk to so we had to drive down town to eat. A quiet town but we managed to find somewhere to eat which was fine.
The entrance to the Kings Canyon & Sequoia Park is about a 20 minute drive but as the area is quite big be expected to spend the day touring around. Nothing is small in the States. The Sequoia's are proof of these! Wow! So worth visitng. They are HUGE! Kings Canyon is also very pretty. So glad we added these stops to our intinerary.

This place was a Godsend. We stayed here just one night on our way to Sequoia NP. The room was lovely and clean, the staff were super helpful and the beds were so comfortable that it really stands out even though it was just one night in our four month holiday!

Stayed here on way to Kings Canyon. Very clean nice hotel . Spacious. Easy to find on edge of town. Nice staff. Only 40 miles to Kings Canyon. Worth the stay. Clean pool/spa. Very comfortable bed. The only thing missing in this great room was no in room safe at time of our visit 8/2014.

We choose the hotel because it was 20 minutes from Sequoi. It is- however there is almost another 90 minutes of driving to get to the "prime" Sequoi areas. The area appeared slightly depressed, and we were hard pressed to find an ice cream store open at 8pm for the kids!

This hotel is the perfect place to stay on your way to/back from Sequoia National Park. (45 min – 1hr) Period. Look no further.

You will need nothing from staff (although the girls were super nice at check in/out); everything is in your room. Very nice and roomy, well-kept/equipped little suites. The pool and Jacuzzi are good, really, you don’t need more. Breakfast is very decent and there are choices for restaurants in town (about 5 min)

Two thumbs up for this one.

Very good staff. Clean, Reasonable price. Breakfast is OK but not great. Fitness center tiny, cramped and not the best equipment, but it works and I use it every time I stay there which is about 5-10 days a month.
