We went to Hacienda de Vega the day after Thanksgiving. The dining is in a beautiful location with tables around a pool and I was expecting the food to match the environment. I'm not a picky eater, but the food just didn't taste that good. All I wanted was a simple cheese enchilada, beans & rice. There were no special orders, so I settled for the Enchiladas Poblanas two chicken enchiladas in a fresh poblano sauce, cream and cotija cheese served with rice and beans. It was very bland. The chips came with four sauces which I doubt were freshly prepared (probably poured from containers) & no was taking them as the waiter mumbled something about the various sauces & went away. They should have been labeled. I would have preferred (and I'm sure others would) fresh cut up tomatoes, onion, cilantro, etc. The margaritas were not that great and were watered down. A place could have the best environment possible, but if the food is not good it's not worth the money. This place was expensive.
