Location is just across the bridge from SFO city centre. Large shopping centre and Denny's are closed by. Good alternation if hotel at SFO city is very busy.

Better than basic accommodations with some nice user friendly touches. Restaurant hours were good for those with early agendas and having coffee in the lobby at all times was extremely nice. We travel to CA from NYC and I tend to wake up very early and I loved being able to go down and get a cup! Its touches like that which will make me go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. Everything was great. The room, the view of the city, the location. But the thing that really made the stay great was Jeremy at the front desk. He was the nicest and most helpful hotel employee I've ever met. He set us up with a great view room, an excellent restaurant right next door to the theater we were going to, and a taxi to get us there. When we need a place to stay in the east bay we will be returning to the Hilton.

First impression was really good. Had to pay extra upgrade to be on the quieter side of the hotel. After sleeping on the mattress 2 nights observed a very LARGE stain. Appeared to be bodily fluids. Head of housekeeping came to take a look and assured me it was dry and had been there a long time! Seriously? then followed the conversation with "well, I have only been here 3 months". Needless to say, I took the matter further with hotel management. This is unacceptable for the Hilton. Flea bag motel, maybe! If you really MUST stay here, thoroughly check the bed!

The room thermostat COULD NOT BE SET BELOW 65 DEGREES. This was not acceptable because the room WAS TOO HOT FOR SLEEPING considering that the AC unit was next to the window and the bed was on the complete opposite wall. Therefore, I could not feel the cool air on me while in the bed. I called the office to send someone to REPROGRAM THE ROOM THERMOSTAT. I was told that IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO REPROGRAM THE THERMOSTAT.

We apologize that the temperature of our rooms were not cool enough for you. Being in the Bay area where the evenings are cool, we don't have our A/Cs programmed where they can go below 65 degrees. One solution is to open the window and let the night air in. But I do understand your position.

Don't stay here unless there is nowhere else to stay! The Double Tree is nice and it's about 3 miles from this hotel. The staff is rude. We got stuck in the elevator. We never got our pillows that we asked for several times. Breakfast was AWEFUL. If I have to say something nice it would be that we did have a great view from our room.

The location was very convenient to drive easily to the several cities around. The price was very reasonable. The staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, friendly and professional. I liked the breakfast as well as enjoying my dining expereince. It was my first stay at this Hotel. I will recommend to anyone and would stay nowhere else but here, next time I am in the area. Thank you!!
