If one is looking for an economy hotel to rest in at the end of a long flight to Los Angeles, then this hotel would be a reasonable choice. However, if the stay is for a more special occasion, then it is advisable to be aware of its limitations.
The free pick up from the airport by the hotel bus was a bonus. On arrival, it was a long wait in the queue to check-in. The receptionist was curt and far from welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, but the air was very stale. Obviously the room in the old South Wing had not been aired for a while. The elevator area could do with repairs and renovation. There was no excuse for the very poor reception on all channels on the television in the room.
On the bright side, the street-level cafe attached to the hotel served good Mexican food, with friendly staff, generous proportions reasonably priced.
The location of the Hotel is particularly good because, in addition to being near the airport with 24 hour pick-up bus, there is a shopping precinct across the road with a number of eating places, and service outlets, including banks.
